The Problem is CITY STATE Yield. i love to make ai and human distance 4 and citystate 3. only than gives not much wasted yield. sry for my english ''^^
I'll be posting a second mod that will be identical to this one with the one exception of Minimum City Distance set to (5) vs. (6).
The mod this comment is attached to will remain as is, so that those who either want to finish running saves before switching and/or just prefer 6 tiles over 5 can continue to use the mod hassle-free.
I'm going to play a full game on my end using 5 instead of 6 to see how it feels (and update my screenshot if necessary). That will probably take a few days, so feel free to keep giving feedback on 5 tiles vs. 6 in the meantime.
How would all the current users feel about that?
This will absolutely improve turn times, and the effect is greater the bigger the map.
@JakobieJones
Yes, in fact the P51 now has one more tile of range than the standard Fighter. Vanilla gave it -2 tiles of range compared to the Fighter for some bizarre reason.
The main "issue" with this is that tiles outside the city range, but not covered by other cities are mostly useless. You can have luxury and strategic resources, some unworked farms that help with adjacency, plant trees and now in GS power plants seem to add the power to the city even if they are not worked.
It's interesting, though, as it can create a nice "nature" buffer between cities.
@kuroi.Kitsune, you should be able to change the settings in the mod file itself. Most of the change you can make are pretty self explanatory, recommend you use something like Notepad++ to open the files.
Quick question - is it possible to adjust the distance limit for City states to be lower? Around 4 spaces?
