Bp is now on the workshop for the crashed ship at location ???????..
So, For those who wanted to restore their downed ship may now do so instead of stripping it down or trying to repair it as best they could.

I redone this as a new world file. Version 3.2 is out updates are in the works on mine.
Also, there is a bp of the crashed ship on my other account. I will be updating it to this account soon.

Note I am making this from scratch as the world goes. Models within the world I will try to bring over into the new world file.

Well I am working on making this a world file. It may not have the mission goals but will have the same aspect if all goes well. This if it works will be able to be found under Paradise Lost V.3.0

@Cosmicat I had similar problem with different mod. It is caused by game/windows "bug"... some file path are too long, it is caused by that game create save folders by world names and timestamps and voxel files for planets (VX2) are named by its seeds string and are placed in that sometimes ridiculously long named folders.
In this case path to planet file is 266 chars long (260 is max). You need to make it shorter.
Before you start the game, open C:\Users\EFGINTO\AppData\Roaming\SpaceEngineers\Saves\76561197972993032\ and rename "Paradise Lost V2 2020-11-27 23-54-37" folder for example only "Paradise" then start the game, (save name should stay same as before) and it should be enough and you should be able to save the game.
You can also rename original planet VX2 file in this folder and edit SBS save file (its is XML and can be edited for example by notepad++) to that new name (just find old name in the document and replace it with new one).

The scripting is broken - I can't get past "Investigate the structure" even though I've tried restarting twice, and am stood inside it, etc.

Seems like a nice scenario but not having an auto save really sucks spent 3 hours playing it come to find out after reloading I have to restart so not going to be finishing this one.

Seems also that logic for AssistantMessage could be tweaked a little, i bypass it by using Branch > False linked to Sendmessage instead output. Without that i miss most of the good bots texts.

after fixing once Once.vs in 1695553625\Scenarios\Paradise Lost V2\Scripts\Common seems all trigger fine... still have the errors in the VS script but this is too much for me and seems not mandatory

on other hand we could as "scenario player" try to fix small things here for you when you focus to outpost 17 as it will need giant amount of time and it should be possible for us to fix paradise lost untill outpost 17 is ready :) we have lots of ways, one is the save sbc file with steps done, one is to fix the scripts and one is to hack in game few steps

Sorry guys, but I will be absolutely honest - I have no intention nor desire to dive into a sea of shit what is visual scripting tool to try to fix this little scenario what they broke with another update :(
Better go support Outpost 17 series' author to repair/improve them, that's some triple-A-shit level stuff that Keen will never reach in quality

Once I reach the structure from "Investigate the structure" it doesn't seem to trigger the next point no matter what I do.

Regarding file name issue - ah, that good ol' SE bug where it spams random shit into save file name, like some numbers and zeroes, right? They fixed that at some point, but it seems it re-emerged again.
Regarding blocks in russian - well, nice immersion - how else do you expect encountering a russian space ship would be? :D
Damn, for EEM I should mass-rename blocks on some ships to be random languages :P

Well, to make a backup save, i have to rename it... Given the already long path for the saves, it helped me a lot to shorten the Paradise Lost folder name... However, lost ~1-2h of gameplay since i couldn't do the renaming while the game was running... Oh and btw, there's a couple blocks/buttons on the crashed ship that are labeled in russian.

@Harbinger, so does it mean Keen broke suspension again? That happened multiple times at this point, most notable - change in suspension settings (especially strength) causing all grids using suspension to lower and take collision damage... When this was made, suspension sliding was perfectly adjusted and the only way to get damaged was to ram the cliffs with direct hit =/
@Inconceivable, caused by retarded visual scripting implementation, once I realized the scope of the problem and what kind of abomination of a script I should make to support making saves at any time, I decided it's not worth it. In case of any issues, just try to speedrun the campaign by using 'cheats' like creative tools enabled in space master menu. Try to avoid save-load as much as possible.

Hi! Maybe I'm making a mistake ...? I built a vehicle according to BP, but it does not move on ice - only the suspension and other parts are damaged. There's a big hole under the vehicle in the ice - that's all from traveling. I have little experience in SE - so I don't know how it should work. Any tips?

There is a bug in the "investigate the structure" logic. If you reach the structure, then save and exit, you are stuck on investigating the structure objective when you reload.
