does the class use pistols when using one of the bullet arts ?

For some reason,the Acid Bullet never trigger the acid
Poison bullet work,same with fire and electric ones,but acid never trigger
Tried All status bullet,they all trigger even with other ammos used,but Acid one alone or with ammos never trigger for me,even as a solo mod

Tried this in two different runs, but wasn't really sure how to use it at first. My first run's rifle-using Bulletmeisters started falling behind pretty quickly, with fewer passive abilities to keep them up to speed compared to the other classes I was running. Not entirely sure if I had bad rolls on the random perks there (this was a while back), but they just couldn't keep up.

Grabbed it again in my most recent run with the intent of using them as dual wielders... and had a lot of fun! Dual wielding is pretty powerful in general, and the actives ended up adding a ton of flexibility for dealing with different enemies in different situations. The whole thing just felt great, and stayed relevant throughout. Definitely recommended!

you can use whatever ammo you want with all the skills. you'll need Mr. Nice's Weapon Fixes if you want the ammo effects to apply to secondary targets in the aoe from the GTS passive tho.

Despite using overlapping ability templates, it does not quite provide the same abilities. Neither class will function as intended, unfortunately.

Hey, I would love to try out both this and your Butterfly class but I'm also using the Chimera classes ( Along with its required perk pack ). I assume there will be an incompatibility issue ?

Not sure if this is a mod conflict or not, but this class is missing a Reload icon in tactical. Can't reload at all.

seems like the issue was with the extra charges effect specifically. should be all better now.

Same problem happened to me. I'm using LWOTC and have equipped the coil rifle and coil pistol.

@Mitzruti, yeah, abilities are shown in the armoury, but all bullet art are missing in the mission, soldier equip vektor rifle and pistol, I do not know where is wrong because I using these weapons from the beginning and this problem is suddenly appeared, but even I loading the earliest savedata this problem is still there.

So they show up in the armoury, but not on missions? what weapons in your soldier equipped with/ anything that might be adjusting requirements for them?

is strange that after the update of perk pack in 20th, all abilities are missing in the mission, could you check whether this problem is caused by other mod or is this update broken this mod? thanks a lot

well, it's not compatible with the pack that this is intended to use. you could regard it as a use-at-your-own-risk warning. there's others that prolly should have it to, but patching half my workshop is... lazy mode activates.

fancy ability tables for this is on my to do list. didn't really start doing them until nightblade, so haven't gotten around to doing the ones for this yet.

Is a fun class and I continue to run with perk packs with no apparent issue. Would be nice to know the reason for the pop-up though.

Same. Also, what do all these abilities do. Digging it up in .ini's isn't fun to decide if this class is work deactivating the chimera class and its perk pack.

The class has quickdraw, but it doesn't seem to have shoot pistol, so what's the point? I can only pistol overwatch, not fire the pistol normally.

yes. Because thier secondary is a pistol you'll wind up dual wielding, resulting in more damage but less accurate at longer ranges.

@LittleLevy: Seems to be the "Reload Weapon" bug. Happened to me as well. Seems to have something to do with Primary Secondaries, but nobody knows for sure and there is no solution to it :/

Mainly the sword bullet skill, Gungeon's got an item called katana bullets and I instantly thought of those.

Doesn't work with Beowulf which is a different author either it might just not work with any modded weapon.

science so far seems to suggest it's a visualization issue that triggers when mr. nice's multitarget ammo fix is applied to them. I'm not entirely sure atm if I've just set them up wrong, or if the issue is in is his code. off to do more science o/

This might be bugged with modded weapons such as hunter rifles and coil/pulse lasers since using blazing bullet they just ducked behind cover and soft lock my game every time. I redownloaded and cleared my config.

would it be accurate to guess you aren't using the LW2 perk pack? I suspect it does something to unlock brig, but haven't dug into it.
It just kind of worked for me, but I haven't purged configs recently.

Also a bit off topic but is there a way to get the new promo screen to show Brigadier? It's only showing up to Colonel for me for all classes, but they still level up to Brig I just can't give them any skills.

I dont think the bullet skills are working as intended, I just fired a 99% chance to hit Sword bullet at a Sectoid and it did 0 damage.

Same thing with Acid and Blaze bullets, they do no damage but apply the debuff. Is that how its supposed to be or need a fix? I'm only Corporal with the class on a new playthrough so dunno about the other skills yet.

pistols would do less damage, but they'd work with the perks. It'll only fire one tho.

tricky part with RPGO is shuffling around the perks and deciding what gets benched (because this is 23 perks)

This class reminds me of a class I adored in LW2, I think it was. I can't quite remember the name of it, Tactian or something like this with a class that uses elemental bullets. I think it might have been done by Mushashi or Reality Machina. It was one of my all time favorites, but never got revived.
All though the original used pistols for this and I hope I can do that(Or future hope that this can be linked to RPO).
