Is there a way to download your mod without steam ?
As far as i can tell thats the only mod which dont create a own folder like all the other mods do.
I subbed to the mod but it seems like the mod wont show up.
therefore i cant check the box to be actually able to play such a cool civ.
btw very cool idea, i love it
It is a shame that is still is mostly chance when playing against humans, but I suppose it mostly balances itself out.
Playing with human players is naturally a little different, but I would argue that any player not buying up Malamenn will be putting themselves at a disadvantage compared to those that do. Regardless, City-States also have a small chance of purchasing the unit (rising if they are Militaristic or under threat of conquest) and can also be forced to accept built Malamenn as gifts.
Is there perhaps a way you could let the player influence it rather than leaving it up completely to chance? For example, maybe literally forcibly selling them to other players or something. I'm not a modder so I have no idea, but I'm sure you could come up with something if you agree.
