Today's SE update (1.204 "Signal") breaks something with non-axis aligned connectors - at least the 1x1x1 connector of this mod doesnt work anymore.
Kham's new version already fixes the connector axis which solves the issue.

This version has been marked as OLD and has had an 'OLD' tag added to all icons to make them easier to identify since they look physically identical.
It'll take me a few days probably to get them all sorted out but I'll post here again once it's up.
So everyone is able to switch by its own
It's related to the model orientation and sadly I maintained the orientation of the blocks in the original mod when I made this so it could be switched out for the original without breaking any builds but now it means all of them will need to be rotated 90 degrees to fix this issue.
Of course, this means it will break all existing builds which use these which is far from ideal but it's the only way I can find to fix it.
I'm trying to weigh up whether to release the 'fix' as a separate mod so people can manually switch over their connectors or whether to just update this mod and break any existing connector placements.
It is the conveyored connector, maybe the armored too because it seems to be the same block just without conveyor ports
Same here, ejecting ends with clang and sometimes a game crash (sound bug)
Sometimes the rocks spawn behind the block...
If someone have the model I could edit it to prevent the error
@David "TheDave" Eastwick yes the mod still functions completely. It hasn't updated because Keen haven't changed anything about connector blocks in that time.
Either way, yes - it looks like he did come back with a solution. I figured that would be the easiest route, anyway, so I'm going to give it a go. Thanks for the reply!
One issue I ran into when replacing a vanilla connector with the 3x3x1 small grid connector is that when using it with an auto-landing script, I end up spinning out and crashing. Upon taking a look, it appears that the models in this pack have the connector port oriented on the top, whereas the vanilla models have them oriented in the front. (You'll see what I mean when placing these with Ctrl-+ to show orientation.)
So if you were coding a script for auto docking with connectors, and need the orientation of the connection point, you'll get the wrong side of the block. Any chance the models can be updated with a simple 90 degree rotation forward? For example in the first image for this mod, if the connectors were rotated 90 degrees toward the camera.
Obviously I didn't have any of the other mods you use but I did have this mod enabled and the connector was there on the back of the pod without any issues.
I can't confirm if it's your respawn file at fault, or another mod you use, or an issue with a plugin for Torch which you may be using but this mod doesn't seem to be causing the problem on it's own.
I did have to remove the <PlanetTypes> section from the .sbc file, since I didn't have that planet to test with. I wouldn't have thought that'd cause any issues though. I think you will have to seek help from the Torch team's Discord I'm afraid as the problem is not occurring in any way with just this mod so it's an issue on their end or another mod/Torch plugin you are using.
Sorry forgot to respond heres the one that is crashing with the connectors
Though there may be someone in the Torch Discord with more experience of custom respawn ships. :)
You'll have to ask the Torch team as it could be related to a Torch plugin you might be using or something. They do have a support Discord which is probably the best place to ask.
If you do find out what's causing it I'd be curious to know in case anyone else reports the same issue.
Is it a dedicated server crashing or a client crashing?
Is the crash happening when the block is placed, or when it's accessed, or when the connectors lock?
Could you possibly upload the full log to something like https://pastebin.pl/ and link it here so I can forward it to the Torch team? Since it's not causing a crash in vanilla it's something I'd have to try and contact them about.
