@kobold here is my tweaked working copy for current patch https://www.dropbox.com/scl/fi/aobmoy4o1keu2302xcizf/Astral-Kitty.7z?rlkey=tqfq5b8hw1tfamlllrmqh8m06&dl=0 gave genotype a bonus agility for its subtype of 3, averaged hp per level, added camping skill, gave some starting skills for genotype like jump and scavenger

While Barnabus works perfectly, the genotype is sadly not only broken, but also breaking almost all other modded genotypes :(

Thank you for your ongoing patience, I understand that you were not able to pet Barnabus for four years. I understand how deeply troubling this was for you and i want to offer one hundred apologies. Barnabus is now pettable and I hope you show the kitty a lot of love regardless of Barnabus' pronouns.

More sentimentally, I forgot I even made this mod and I love Barnabus very deeply. It means a lot to me that you took the time to let me know, so thank you <3

That's unfortunate! Thanks for telling me the mods, I'll have to give a shot at fixing the compatibility issues! I use extremely unique namespaces except for Unphasing, which is probably where the issue comes from.

Just learned that Barnabus is also incompatible with Tycho's Tangent.

Oh, the mod is okay on my end now after enough trial and error.

Whichever mods caused the player to be unable to play as Barnabus was what caused Barnabus not to spawn, so... Barnabus is incompatible with these mods: "BetterTime" and "Wake Up!"

Barnabus could be incompatible with "Harmony Injector" and "Hover Info", but I didn't test them to find out if they have a problem with Barnabus specifically or the current version of the game since I uninstalled them before I ran my tests.

Also worth noting Barnabus is permanently phased so they can spawn inside walls - try walking off screen real quick to double check they're not there

Curious! You might try @-ing the devs on twitter or joining their discord to report it, it's possibly a bug in the pet generation system.

(After creating enough new characters, Barnabus finally appeared, but I don't know why Barnabus wouldn't appear before.)

I can't seem to get Barnabus to spawn in with my character as a pet, but Basil (the Basilisk pet from a different mod) spawns in just fine within the same version of the game—the latest stable version as of this comment's time stamp.

if you get any sort of multiarms mutations (from saving up the 4 mutation points) it will give you 2 arms (with the normal version) a hand slot, 2 hand slot, and a thrown weapons slot

Wonderful mod! love the concept, though the fact that you can't equip ANY sort of weapons is a bit annoying (though it makes sense)

it does not properly recreate last played build currently (can be fixed with ease by adding a Classes.xml to your mod with the Genotypes info)
