the techs didnt seem to increase in turns needed, this is on epic speed
Also, April patch killed my game. I guess I am out of the game... literally oops :'D
Currently I've developed a simple, full-static Era mod here:

This one tries to make the game go somewhat chronologically with the in-game date system, and in the process, I doubled the Ancient Era duration! I find this in balance with my x2 mods, you should check them out! :D
Especially when coupled with my Slower Civics.
So you may theorically grow bigger empires in earlier ages AND end games some 100-200 turns more or so instead. That's because as empires grow, they end up catching up to the tech extra costs! Another effect I aimed at. Just more focus on current warfare rather than just tech up and beat the competition. :P
Yes, @Quineloe, the number of turns it takes for completing a tech does double. That's what the mod does. Hope you have fun :)
I must admit I left this mod since ingame bonus for those behind world era and penalty for those ahead in tech and civics doesn´t work, but the Slower combo is so simple it should work anyday.
I will check it in time.
Pretty pissed off that, currently, the game's bonuses and penalties for being behind or ahead of the Global Era on techs and civics doesn't work. Such mechanic was to be boosted with these set of mods so the feel is not the same anymore :/
