yeah i can imagine why you would drop support for it everyones moving on now lol. thank you for the update on 1.5 though. im still sticking with 1.5 until, as i said, until all the mods i used are updated to 1.6. which i would imagine wouldn't be to long from now
Latte macchiato  [author] 21 hours ago
Fixed compatability with 1.5, sorry about that. Also backported all the new stuff to it. Dropped support for 1.1-1.4.

1.6 update pls
SKEHSEP 14 Jul @ 2:57am
alright so i had to go through a whole ass process. sadly i noticed some of the other nukes are missing which is kinduh a bummer but eh. but if you're having trouble with the new update on 1.5 which is what im staying on until everyone mostly updates everything i use. heres the process

1.save your current session.
2.uninstall mod
3.load game back up and save.
4.reinstall mod and reapply in "mods" tab in the rimworld menu
5.load save with mod installed.

some of these steps may not be necessary but this is what worked for me
SKEHSEP 14 Jul @ 2:44am
1.5 seems to broken i will see what i can do to fix it
SKEHSEP 14 Jul @ 2:40am
ah so the update kind of broke the mod i see. i was wondering why my nukes were not going boom when i fired them i'll be sure to verify files hopefully that helps
Koi 13 Jul @ 10:38am
It's fixed now, thanks for the updates.
Koi 13 Jul @ 9:36am
Nope, I subbed to this one, but it still says it's 1.5 in the list in game. I don't have a local copy or anything so uh...

The mod works, I think, but it's a yellow blob in the mod list. I did verify files and all that.
Latte macchiato  [author] 13 Jul @ 9:19am
Maybe verify your files; that update shouldve landed some days ago.
Koi 13 Jul @ 9:11am
In-game it still says this mod is 1.5 for some reason.

oh sweet thanks
world destruction here i come lol
i have been using VFE - Security's Artillery to fire nukes so happy to hear dirty bombs will do huge damage now
Latte macchiato  [author] 6 Jul @ 4:06pm
@blank
The radiation system now uses a proper progressive hediff with numbers and worse symptoms at higher values, rather than having multiple.

The dirty bombs cause 4x as much pollution as the other ones. This *will* cause an incredible amount of pollution, just be careful because they dump just as much radiation as pollution.
Latte macchiato  [author] 6 Jul @ 4:04pm
Update: HugsLib dependency is now gone. Enjoy actually using the mod.
󠀡󠀡 6 Jul @ 3:09pm
reworked radiation hediff
does this mean that dirty bombs make more toxic marks on the land when dropped i would love it to have a way to mass drop toxic bombs and have the tile converted into a toxic wasteland
Latte macchiato  [author] 6 Jul @ 2:57pm
Yes. There's an updated one on the workshop, the official one still hasn't updated.

At some point I want to replace it, but it's been years since I was actually creating mods, so it's what I know.
󠀡󠀡 6 Jul @ 2:30pm
buglibs lol
Crimson 6 Jul @ 2:06pm
does this need hugslib still?
Latte macchiato  [author] 6 Jul @ 1:35pm
Beta 1.6 release out! All new detonation effects, reworked radiation hediff, fully refactored code to not suck anymore. Tell me any feedback.
󠀡󠀡 28 Jun @ 2:21am
can't wait to use this mod with the 1.6 gravships going to be dropping nukes on all the little tribal people rofl
LilSyrupShawty! 27 May @ 11:05am
How does the radiation work? I've dropped enough dirty nukes to glass the rim, and I haven't noticed anything odd happening.
KING DOGE 15 Feb @ 9:53am
me and my fellow north Koreans we are proud of this
1000cyberblade1000 26 Jan @ 11:47pm
looks interesting, although maybe make it cause fires or something for extra oomph? As it stands it doesnt look very 'nukey'. The damage it causes is good though just not the visual in my opinion.
Phoenix_wolf2845 25 Jan @ 1:15pm
I don't like this mod it gives enemies something that can kill me normally I'm the only one that can bombard them with nukes but they can with this i rather just use rimatomics
Latte macchiato  [author] 12 Jan @ 4:22pm
Not as far as I'm aware, and yes.
benadrylbroccoliburger 11 Jan @ 1:04pm
couple questions-

1. Does it conflict with toxic gas mod?
2. can it be added mid save?
Tired&High 20 Dec, 2024 @ 6:03am
is there a re-texture that works with this mod?
blackrave 7 Dec, 2024 @ 6:17am
@schmitt.timo2009
SRTS and Vehicles Expanded for bomber aircraft

Vanilla Expanded-Security has artilery that can target distant world tiles, both to support your own raids (with precision targeting on other maps) or simply wiping other setlements with enough firepower applied (anyone besides tribals can decide to shoot back). I think chance of destroying settlement is linked to blast radius of a shell- the bigger radius, the higher chance of destroying it.
Latte macchiato  [author] 23 Nov, 2024 @ 3:28pm
You don't. They have to be found.
KindaLikeThat 22 Nov, 2024 @ 3:43pm
how to make antigrain warhead?
ElConvict 24 Oct, 2024 @ 11:04pm
Could you add an IED of the dirty bomb? And maybe remote charge versions of all of them, like the ones from VFE Deserters?
Latte macchiato  [author] 17 Oct, 2024 @ 12:52pm
You're describing SRTS Expanded. :3
schmitt.timo2009 17 Oct, 2024 @ 11:34am
is there any mod that allows to fire these nukes at other bases with a conon or drop them like from aircraft
Latte macchiato  [author] 18 Aug, 2024 @ 8:49am
youre gonna get some errors in the console when loading the save, but yeah, this mod doesnt really do anything deep
thefrenchgremlin 17 Aug, 2024 @ 7:12pm
is it safe to get rid of mid game?
Latte macchiato  [author] 14 Aug, 2024 @ 5:15am
these are mortar shells
alexjamesthomas037 14 Aug, 2024 @ 12:26am
name of the gun that you have to use for the nuke
elGabriao 4 Aug, 2024 @ 8:18pm
hi, you guys know any mod that adds armor/clothes that shield against the radiation from this mod's weapons?
btw, thanks for the awesome mod!
Latte macchiato  [author] 20 Jul, 2024 @ 11:24am
Rimatomics shouldn't interfere with anything here, though the Rimatomics nukes are a lot stronger than the ones in this mod lol
Average_Cinder_Block 20 Jul, 2024 @ 10:56am
We shall live forever more, we can start a nuclear war!
NOIDONTTHINKIWILL 19 Jul, 2024 @ 11:40am
Does this mod work with Rimatomics?
torhan2010 12 Jun, 2024 @ 9:43am
you are kek
seabazian 20 May, 2024 @ 6:31am
i have no house and i must scream
RetailPale 17 May, 2024 @ 7:45pm
Instead of radiation you should have just took advantage of the pollution feature in the game. Although I guess that does nothing for anyone without the DLC but still.
AbbyTheIdiot 6 May, 2024 @ 1:26am
For some reason the radiation system isn't working
OcN.Helbrecht 5 May, 2024 @ 12:19pm
Is there a way to know the range of the radiation of each shell?
eric.dreblow 2 May, 2024 @ 9:34am
Thanks for the reply! Much appreciated :)
Latte macchiato  [author] 30 Apr, 2024 @ 7:09pm
The bombs don't deploy their nuclear payload when they arent shot as a shell, yeah.
Didn't find a way to trigger the effects when they're not an actual projectile with Harmony, sorry.
eric.dreblow 30 Apr, 2024 @ 2:53am
Edit: The bomb also leaves no pollution, despite the Biotech DLC being enabled. Maybe the bombs behave differently when exploding in storage rather than being shot out of a mortar. Which currently doesn't work, sadly
eric.dreblow 30 Apr, 2024 @ 2:51am
Are those nukes supposed to damage buildings? Because they don't really seem to do that. I set a fusion bomb off by laying a fuse with a fuel trail (from the Rimefeller Mod) between a few enemy buildings made of wood, and the blast wave just blew through the alleys while leaving the walls around it (at a distance of like two building squares) pretty much unharmed. Is that by design?
