Unless Paradox changed personality definitions it should.
Not really able to check it out right now though (way too busy with work and other projects)

works with 3.1?

Nice mod. Im enjoying my timelapse thanks to this. I thought editing aggressiveness in defines.lua was enough.

Sorry for the super belated reply @Ександрійський к

StarNet friendship patch adjusts global AI constants, instead of overriding the individual personality definitions. So they work together just fine.

So, my goal is to have an advanced AI challenge while still maintaining the roleplay elements of the game. Since the basic StarNet overrides the vanilla AI personality behavior altogether I was using the StarNet Friendship patch to compensate for that. Should I disable the patch if I wanna try this mod with the same goal in mind - for the aggressive things to be agressive, and for friendlier AIs to still be open to some diplomatic interactions?

Okaaaaky, whatever was going on seems to have stopped now? Idk maybe my pc is bad. Regardless I don't think it was your mod that caused it anymore, sorry for the false alarm.

Strange. All I am doing is changing constants used in formulas. I am not adding any new logic. It shouldn't have any performance overhead once the game is loaded.
I'll look into it.

Bug report: When this mod is enabled it takes a solid second fora day to pass, during that time the entire game freezes, leaving the game very unemployable to play.

Yes, it should still work in 2.7
Angel 18 May, 2020 @ 3:48pm
Hey Bro, it is me again. i love your mod. Can it run for 2.7.2? If not, no problem.

thanks for the info!

Had to make an update, so update to 2.5 mod format was needed
Angel 25 Aug, 2019 @ 4:45am
thx

Yes, that mod does indeed overwrite common/personalities/00_personalities.txt, which means it undoes the changes Starnet AI does. The way my mod is structured, AIs that I touch will still have their changes applied (I double apply them in a second overwrite file), but Starnet relies on the vanilla file overwrite only.

If you want to use the two together and get the full experience of both, you will need to write a compatibility mod between the two. Not a trivial prospect there are more conflicts with Starnet AI then just personalities (districts/, governments/, and probably other conflicts exist also).

I'm already shouldering enough compatibility patches that I am not in a place where I can take more on for mods I don't personally use (unless it is something extremely trivial, which this wouldn't be)

If the ethic alternative mod overwrites vanilla AI personalities, it probably would. Do you have a link to that mod? I can take a look
Angel 23 Aug, 2019 @ 5:22am
I also have ethic alternative activated. Maybe it might conflict with your configuration.
Angel 23 Aug, 2019 @ 5:20am
Does this conflict with any other mod? It is 2224, I have fanatical purifiers next to other empires and slave despots touching other empires with starnet AI and other mods compatible with it and no wars yet. BTW, thx for your previous reply.
TechSY730  [author] 22 Aug, 2019 @ 5:34pm
Yes, this is save compatible.
Angel 21 Aug, 2019 @ 6:11pm
I am guessing save compatible?
TechSY730  [author] 2 Jul, 2019 @ 1:18pm
@TurtleShroom No, but the non Starnet AI version, https://steamhost.cn/steamcommunity_com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=1646997525 , is compatible with Glavius AI.
TurtleShroom 2 Jul, 2019 @ 9:23am
Is this Mod compatible with the Glavius AI?
TechSY730  [author] 2 Jul, 2019 @ 7:12am
@TurtleShroom
Mostly cause I thought it would be a bit funny :P
Their description does say they attempt to make friends "by any means necessary".

That being said, I do think lowering it from 4.0 -> 3.0 would be a good idea.
TurtleShroom 2 Jul, 2019 @ 2:23am
Why do the Blorg have such high Aggression? The others make sense.
