It looks like the newest hotfix by the devs fixed the empty pop-ups. I was able to reinstate the mod middle of game without any problems.

Considering what it does, I'm assuming it should be safe to remove mid-game.

However, you can always load a save and see what happens. The save file should remain the same regardless of if the mod is on or off. So if it doesn't work you can always wait to resume.

So, with the fleet event bug being a thing. Is this mod safe to remove mid game? Or will I have to wait for an update in order to continue? Probably a really silly and dumb question I most likely already know the answer to, but I wanna continue my current campaign. If not, then I'll wait patiently.

Pulled up some stuff relating to the blank event popup problem, 16 per game day, using the debug stuff.
solarstorm_fleet_event.35 came up.
Along with numerous remarks from File: interface/eventwindow.gui and line 19.

Same as others, for me it's "solarstormevent" for my fleet which opens a set of 5 blank event popups every day rotation.

Looks like the latest update has broken this mod somehow.

It keeps firing an empty event many times per day.

A small QoL suggestion: I remember there were some mods which changed the colour of font for star system (Guili's Modifiers, I believe). Perhaps you could tint the unstable star systems a different colour depending on severity of hazard, so players can plan their route accordingly?

here's an idea: tech that unlocks a building to stabilize unstable systems. Then techs that boost it, at the highest level allowing you to completely prevent Hyperspace Storms in that system!

all events related to this mod that normally occur in star systems are in the center of the galaxy for me, which blocks their execution

As other players mentioned similar game crashes; my game also crashes after the solar storm's event when I go to galaxy map, otherwise if I stay in the system map game continues. I'm saying it because I thought it might help to debug.
