MESSAGE TO ALL USERS:
This mod is listed as Out of Date and will show up as such in the launcher.
HOWEVER, it seems to work absolutely fine.

Late reply, I know. Not having system scale is the cause. This patch fixes the planetary shields so they fit with the sizing of planets from real space system scale. If you don't use that mod, your planets are not resized, and thus don't need a patch to fix the shields to resized planets.

No matter what I seem to do, I can't manage to get the planetary shields to align. They stay above the planet... Tried moving the position of the mod etc. How do you open the mod menu for MEM pretty sure, I'm just gonna have to disable it at this point.

Oh, I see. In that case, it's true that you'll need a patch that specifically fixes that issue.

No thats the mod I am talking about. That one changes the weapon ranges to be much smaller to fit with the scale. There needs to be a patch that makes it so any weapon types added in my MEM also have their rang and speed reduced correctly to fit in with the scaling.

No, it only fixes the scale and position of the planetary shields effect on planets.

This mod no longer works, at least with the 2.7.2 version. The shielding is still floating above the planet even with the mod loaded correctly in the specific order under Real Space. Subscribing to the other patch in association with the same creator also does not remedy the problem. I've also tested it with different loading scenarios with or without the other mod and in higher or lower positioning in the load order. Unfortunately, does not work.

@Azona Oh, congrats. Maybe something to do with load order. Well, other things like Elves of Stellaris will still have issues, but that's to be expected unfortunately.

@Azona I have that happening as well. A similar thing happens with the unique rings in "Elves of Stellaris"--they hover over the planet on the Y-axis (they're also too small), but that's another mod.

To add to my earlier point, Neil--the event in question is NOT one of yours, but actually from Real Space New Frontiers, specifically, star event #15 (the event name should be discernable from that, I should've written it down). That being said, it's still a scaling issue of some kind.

Cool, happy to help with this instrumental mod. To be clear, the post-ruinous-growth star is below the solar plane, whereas before said growth it was aligned with it. I'll keep my eye out for any other strange bug or bug-like things and report them too.

Hi Neil--wanted to report something (not from EoS) that might be relevant: it looks like the "Star suddenly goes giant and ruins your day" event (which I'm pretty sure is from the ME Mod?) works, but unfortunately the sun's y-axis is off (its center well below the plane underneath all other objects orbiting it). I believe Real Space's creator mentioned that System Scaling might result in stars occasionally below that plane, though since this is event related....well, in any case, I thought I'd report it. It's possible it's just something broken on my end, though I don't think so.
