One curiosity... Where are the TT15 and the minimerchant?
Talentless Builder 5 Apr, 2023 @ 4:19am
was skimming through my blue prints in game, question sir.... why does it have medium cargo's if they cant be loaded with supply's you connected them to the large hydrogen tank side on small conveyors, the medium cargo's can only be loaded with ice at that point, and if fully loaded with ice in a planets atmosphere could it hold its weight given the lack of thrust ?

for some reason i cant move most components into the cargo blocks, but i dont see any sorters?

Thanks. Here's the link, if you were curious.

Sure, no problem :D

I have a quick question - I took your design and revamped it a fair bit. Do you mind if I upload it to my workshop? With the proper credits of course.
The main change, aside from the general aesthetic, has been the addition of a Survival Kit by sacrificing some of the power blocks (1 battery, some generators). I've also made some changes to the thruster layout.

Builds fine. This thing is amazing! It's now one of my fav small-grid runabouts ever!

A subgrid is a grid attached via a piston or rotor, not the piston or rotor itself. All the proof you need is that if it was a subgrid a projector wouldn't project it on a blueprint.
Sandst4rm 26 Oct, 2019 @ 7:03am
Bruh no way joe told me that the piston counted as a subgrid without the head???
Major Jon  [author] 26 Oct, 2019 @ 3:27am
I removed the piston head, so this ship has technically zero subgrids. The extending part is still part of the piston block itself, it doesn't have a collision box either, so it could even go through other blocks. If you weld this together in survival the piston head is automatically added, but that doesn't really matter.
Sandst4rm 25 Oct, 2019 @ 9:11pm
Explain to me how pistons aren't subgrids please.

Only if you're landing with more than 5 m/s
Balcifer 25 Oct, 2019 @ 5:55pm
ok i see sparks when i land it so I wonder if im damaging the ship
Major Jon  [author] 25 Oct, 2019 @ 5:41pm
The single landing gear at the front is static, the two pistons at the back extend/retract by pressing 6 on the first page of the toolbar. They are only cosmetic though, the ship won't tip over even when they are retracted.
Balcifer 25 Oct, 2019 @ 3:40pm
Quick question do the landing gears extend? I push all the landing gear icons on hotbar and nothing happens.

You can get the same effect with Ansel :)

I just added the motionblur later in Gimp, not very elegant, but it does the job
Visal Eklipse 25 Oct, 2019 @ 12:24pm
how did you do that screenshot with motion bluer?
info 25 Oct, 2019 @ 10:57am
nice
Emiricol4Rl 24 Oct, 2019 @ 12:43pm
Small conveyors notwithstanding, this is a gorgeous ship and one of my new favorites :)
HKchiu 24 Oct, 2019 @ 4:11am
nice ship:steamhappy:
Taidyr 22 Oct, 2019 @ 1:47pm
This ship is beautiful and handles very well. There's a big issue though: The cargo containers are only connected via small conveyors, making it impossible to store components like steel plates and large tubes in them from the connectors.
