Juhn 17 Feb, 2023 @ 11:17am
Is that mod still working?
Quanariin 7 Feb, 2023 @ 10:45am
declared war with despoliation war goal. won the war and received the rewards for humiliation war goal. i doubt this is intended.
firespark84 29 Jul, 2022 @ 7:08pm
wait so was this updated? the author said in a week in may and its almost august, was their delays or was the update cancelled?
Big Sneezy 31 May, 2022 @ 2:19pm
Very excited to see this making a return!
Alche 22 May, 2022 @ 2:25am
Finally! I was waiting so long...
Also, does the free our people wargoal just free all the pops belonging to the base species of your empire, including new genemods? Also synths if Synthethic Evolution?
Compatibility with Destructive Bombardment?
You heard of Evolved? It's cool
All I have to say
relytor  [author] 21 May, 2022 @ 5:38pm
I will be updating this in the next week
Alche 21 May, 2022 @ 12:01pm
Does this mod still work?
relytor  [author] 29 Nov, 2021 @ 1:43am
** UPDATED **
relytor  [author] 22 Nov, 2021 @ 11:28am
** ATTENTION ** I am going to be out of town until next Monday, so this unfortunately probably won't be updated until next Tuesday, 11/30. But it IS coming!
Akirazine 12 Nov, 2021 @ 2:41pm
awesome thanks for your work !
relytor  [author] 12 Nov, 2021 @ 2:32pm
** FINALLY UPDATED ** Mechanics tweaked using some of the new scripting tools introduced in the last two updates, making resource stealing more reasonable. You now actually steal a month's worth of production when sacking a system, or a week's worth of a planet's production when bombarding it.
Sjru 🐲 15 Apr, 2021 @ 8:04pm
Wil this be updated?
anaphysik 7 Dec, 2020 @ 5:44pm
message_types.txt needs updated.
:3 17 Nov, 2020 @ 5:00pm
Does this still work properly with 2.8?
( ͡ ❤ ͜ʖ ͡ ❤) 13 Nov, 2020 @ 3:50am
The entire economic stockpile of a nation can seemingly be raided in one go in the late game. 100% of Energy, Minerals, Food, CG, Alloys and Resources stolen from one planet by the AI. Is this a bug?
relytor  [author] 28 May, 2020 @ 7:19am
Sorry it took so long to update. I was in the middle of a move across country when 2.7 dropped.
Peace options will now work correctly.
Brightpaw 27 May, 2020 @ 11:34pm
does using this and planet raider together cause issues? as I noticed that the options to actually use any of the peace options was disabled and Nobody could ever peace out. Not even war exhaustion.
El Yahpo 14 May, 2020 @ 5:36pm
Definitely agree, and I can't wait for the update XD
unhinged takes 27 Apr, 2020 @ 4:05pm
used this in my last play through as i normally play barbaric despoilers with slave guild and i freaking love this and wish it was base game tbh
relytor  [author] 26 Apr, 2020 @ 10:23am
@Double D This mod will most likely overwrite any changes they make to Nihilistic Acquisition, but that is all.
Double D 26 Apr, 2020 @ 5:18am
So this will conflict with mod which also edit 00_ascension_perks.txt like the Utopian Dream mod or add/edit like the Zenith mod?
K0rruptedYouth 21 Apr, 2020 @ 7:13am
@EL Yahpo Yes! I realized soon after that the wording was just confusing me.

Really been enjoying this mod.
relytor  [author] 20 Apr, 2020 @ 6:18pm
@zammerson It should be. Are you having issues?
@El Yahpo I relaxed the restriction, so now subjects of Fallen or Awakened empires can still raid.
zammerson 19 Apr, 2020 @ 4:19pm
So will this mod work right now?
El Yahpo 17 Apr, 2020 @ 10:06pm
I think it would make sense to lift that from a game play standpoint. It is a rare circumstance that a player finds themselves a vassal, and rarer still that their lord also raids. While there is def a precedent for Fallen Empire vassalage limiting your options, having a non-punishment one like Scion doesn't fit the bill imo. What types of empires block raiding?
El Yahpo 17 Apr, 2020 @ 9:49pm
Ah! Not a bug, a feature!
relytor  [author] 17 Apr, 2020 @ 8:21am
@El Yahpo Yes, with this mod you can only raid if you are independent or a vassal of someone that allows raiding. I have been thinking about changing that, with the new Scion origin.
El Yahpo 16 Apr, 2020 @ 3:52pm
@K0rruptedYouth I didn't have an issue with the status quo, but it may be a misunderstanding with the wording. It took me a second to realize that when the ai responds to your war with Free Our People, the status quo only returns pops from planets they have taken. Does that help?
El Yahpo 16 Apr, 2020 @ 3:49pm
Ah, vassalage is a problem? I am playing as Barbaric Despoilers with the OP Scion origin. Pillaging works when I have the mod disabled.
relytor  [author] 16 Apr, 2020 @ 4:17am
@El Yahpo I'm not seeing this issue. Are you a Barbaric Despoiler, or take the Ascension Perk? Are you independent or a vassal?
El Yahpo 16 Apr, 2020 @ 12:05am
In the update today I am unable to put my ships into raiding stance.
K0rruptedYouth 31 Mar, 2020 @ 5:11am
I didn't know about the humiliation changes, is there any way you can edit the war goal to show that? Thanks for checking! Admittedly, I didn't fully check to see the results if I force status quo, but I didn't want to save scrum the current playthrough.
relytor  [author] 30 Mar, 2020 @ 8:24pm
@K0rruptedYouth You get the minerals and energy now during the war, as you attack starbases. Winning the war humiliates the enemy and nets you influence just like a humiliation war does. Status Quo on a Despoliation war shouldn't return your abducted pops; I'll double check it is working correctly since the last update. Pops get returned on Free Our People war
K0rruptedYouth 30 Mar, 2020 @ 7:57pm
I feel like the mineral and energy aspect of winning a despoilation war should remain. Yes, capturing pop is the main goal, but with the change, it's either all or nothing with the plunder war goal. Before, you can steal pops to jump start your colony then force a status quo, but with your mod change it seems to return all abducted pops at status quo, which so far feels like a nerf. I'd at least like something additional for winning a war if a status quo doesn't net me anything as a barbaric despoiler.

@XeranDereth Try unsubscribing and re-subscribing

** UPDATED TO 2.6.* **
Sjru 🐲 17 Mar, 2020 @ 7:57pm
Will this be updated?
relytor  [author] 9 Feb, 2020 @ 9:02am
@Strategist Bu Shia I considered this, but it could be problematic. Currently, it doesn't free ALL your people, only specifically those that were taken. When taken, they are flagged with which empire and planet they were taken from, and the CB and war success just checks for that flag on the pops. To broaden the scope of the CB, are you going to free all those with citizenship rights, or just your original species? What if you free all those with citizenship rights, and you offer rights to everyone in the galaxy, then you'd free all the slaves. If they take one of your planets in a war, and then you use the "Free Our People" CB 10 years later after the truce ends, you'd free an entire planet of people, all going to your homeworld, most likely causing major overcrowding. In the end, you are better off taking their territory than freeing all their slaves, in my opinion. If anyone has a convincing counterpoint to my rationale, then I am capable of implementing it.
Strategist Bu Shia 9 Feb, 2020 @ 8:13am
Do you think you can make the "free our people" CB available to any empire that has members of your species enslaved, not just those that raided you?
relytor  [author] 26 Jan, 2020 @ 2:08pm
Anyone that is interested, I have just released my Empire United mod, an overhaul of the Unity system. https://steamhost.cn/steamcommunity_com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=1980391845
relytor  [author] 25 Jan, 2020 @ 3:02pm
@fvallejosm No. Same as vanilla, that is unique to the civic. With Nihilistic Acquisition you get the Raiding stance and it's new functionality, as well raiding the system when you disable a starbase.
Palestina Libre 25 Jan, 2020 @ 2:07pm
Do you get the plunder wargoal as an empire with nihilistic aquisition?
relytor  [author] 25 Jan, 2020 @ 11:34am
@Strategist Bu Shia Yes. Vanilla already had ai_weight setup for the stance, and I saw no need to change that. I dropped the ai_weight of the of the Plunder war goal so it has the same weight as the Conquest war goal. The Free Our People has a high ai_weight, so the AI will almost always choose that war goal if they have the CB over other war goals.
Strategist Bu Shia 25 Jan, 2020 @ 8:12am
Will the AI make use of the stance?
relytor  [author] 23 Jan, 2020 @ 4:57pm
@kuyan-judith Yes. With victory, all pops that were abducted to any planet of the raiding empire are returned home, the attacker gains 50 influence, and the raiding empire is humilitated. On status quo, only those pops abducted that are on the planets occupied by the original owner are returned home.
kuyan-judith 23 Jan, 2020 @ 4:51pm
Will slaves on a planet occupied by the "free our people" owner be taken home on status quo the same as they would on victory?
LordZarmack 20 Jan, 2020 @ 3:12pm
good work
