Since it doesn't look like there'd be more maintenance to this, need someone new to do a fork or maintenance so that it can go in 1.3

I have a string of mod errors that might be too big for comments. I can start a discussion if need be, but it's an error shared with other Storyteller mods

Out of all the storyteller mods, this is the finest made, most balanced, and most different without just being 'lol i made randy send aminalz mor'. Game balance is nothing like code, and few modders appreciate it! Kudos!

I'll look into compatibility with Dynamic Colony, although this is just a storyteller mod.

Vanilla Events Expanded has some events that are really long. I also definitely want to make an environmental-only mode.

+1 for More environment events and that last longer. The fallout one is the best one I almost had my colony stare to death...wish some lasts full year long on higher difficulty.

Also can you make this mod compatible with the Dynamic Colony mod (where you can set the max numbers of colonists you can have). I hate having more than 10 colonists, and every story teller in this mod gives you 20+ eventually.

Hello, I'm using calista complex for the last 5 hours - with obviously some other mods.
I'm enjoying it so far, but right now she throw at me event after event (raid, mech cluster, map event sun blocker) : as soon as I'm done with one, I don't even have 2 hours in game before I got another one.
Reading this you might think "Oh, that's a little too much" but in practice since I get raid so often they aren't that strong.

That make it really more interesting compared to vanilal story telling (that is way more static). I really recommend people giving it a try. :)

+1 for @Epic Store Exclusive suggestion please. There are quite enough "Fallout/Apocalypse" mods on the Workshop by now that this could make for an interesting game.

Also thumbs up for the non-meme storytellers in this mod : variety never hurts. Finally (and obviously) thank you for sharing this mod with us.

Actually since you have more difficulty settings, it might make more sense as a difficulty setting.

I would love a storyteller "Environmental Emma" who never sends raider events, but who ramps up the environmental difficulty through more and more harsh weather and events like month-long eclipses and dry thunderstorms that don't let up until most of the map is on fire.

It could be a very interesting way to play the game.

Possibly? Also double-check that you've got good relations with other factions. More Trade Ships shouldn't totally ruin regular traders.

In the mean time I'll go poke around in the code and see if there's anything unusual.

I have "Let's Trade" (but that doesn't affect the frequency of caravans) and "More Trade Ships" active. Am subbed to Adjustable Trade Ships but don't have it active.

Maybe the latter was making all the trade opportunities be Orbital Trade Ships and I just didn't see them because I never got to the stage where I could set up orbital beacons?

Hmm, no that's unusual. I'm not the original author of the mod, only ported it to 1.1, so I'm not sure at first blush what that would be due to. Do you have any trader mods like Adjustable Trade Ships ?

Is it normal for Calista Complex to not send you trade caravans? In my last colony, I don't think i saw any (besides the royal tribute collectors) in the 2-ish years it survived for

Despite having Nora Nothing set as my storyteller for one of my saves, the game decided to drop a Solar Flare on me right after a thunderstorm did near-catastrophic damage to my colony's buildings (it started a fire right next to them).

@nurupo honestly I didn't really. All it does is tweak certain percentages of event changes. Calista is a little special in that she dynamically adjusts event chances based on previous event impact (most storytellers just have fixed values for event chances).

I imagine you must have dug through the code if you updated this, so could you enlighten us a little more on what the "Complex" storyteller does differently from vanilla storytellers?
