@Mr Meat: On that note, if I wanted to reproduce the scarring effects from *this* mod, would you have an idea of what settings I'd need on Flesh Wound?

I did find an updated mod that lets you customize the rates for scarring and much more. If its just the scarring youre looking to change then you can set all other settings to vanilla

Tried wrestling a polar bear for 5 seconds and seems to work just fine for me in 1.5. Most wounds scar, which encourages both minimizing injuries and body modification. Could pair great with a scar healing mod if you aren't looking for a brutal rimworld experience. I was tired of always getting brain damage on all of my colonists before seeing a single scar.

Can this be reverse engineered to make scarring LESS likely to happen. 1.4 seems to have scarring happen a lot and I'm looking for a way to reduce the rate.

Sorry I've been busy with irl. I should have this updated in about a week. It will work in 1.4 though for all the standard humanoid limbs as per usual in the time being as The Blind One noted.

This works with 1.4 even if the mod doesn't show it.

That's because this is an XML patch and will likely continue to be compatible with all future updates as long as it doesn't significantly change the underlying XML code.

After playing this mod for a while, I've gotta say I absolutely love it! The health panel becomes a story book of the struggles you've faced as a colony, its awesome

Yeah, this actually provides that small penalty for accidentally taking a punch of bullets you'd otherwise be able to walk off. Recently had a colonist massacred by an assaulter, walked out with 3 scars. :X

Nice, I never get any scars with Combat Extended. My pawns can take a rocket to the chest and be completely unharmed three days later.

on some maps or events, there is lots of medicine, so i think this is also a good way to balance out if you have lots of meds, and also to help train doctors for later :)
