i encountered a pretty gamebreaking level design issue near the end of this mod's on a rail. it seems the last map does not line up properly with the previous map, and the train tries to do an impossible 160 degree turn due to the track going in the wrong direction. i have screenshots

Is there a reason why this mod's file size is lower than the other variations of this despite having the most content? This mod's file size is 695 MB, while the original OaR uncut by DIGITAL SPORTS is at 735 MB. And not to mention that Salimuyne compiled OaR uncut + Loop mod as another workshop entry, and it easily shot past 818 MB.

I had the same Issue with Dark Interval recently, When I saved the Two Guards, I've faced Two remaining Marines and for some Unknown reason, If I killed one of the Marines, The Two guards vanish. It's a small Issue I suppose but I think one or at least something in the Code counts how many Marines remain to remove the Security NPCs (Assuming they have died.)

Okay, I give up on trying to fix this myself. I just don't get it. Any time I re-load any part of this level, the AI always disables itself - even though they're just fine transitioning to On a Rail. I'm sure it's this mod too because I removed only it and the AI were fine. Anybody have any ideas? Because quite frankly it's driving me mad.

There's a a black texture of the wall on the left at the begnning of c2a2d, after the first turn and there's a flying box next to stairs at the railroad booth when you change tracks at c2a2b

False alarm, turns out it WAS a mod conflict just like I mentioned, this mod worked flawlessly after I solved the problem, 10/10 again!

Game starts to lag HORRIBLY on the missile elevator shaft part (where you have to close the elevator doors so it lets you push the button) after pushing the missile button it fixes itself though, not sure if its a mod conflict or not, but this is the only part where it lags like that for NO reason, so it leads me to believe that its probably this mod, it would be wonderful if you could look into it!

can you make that when marines die in a guard vs hecu fight, the guards dont dissapear but instead ragdoll?

I got one little nit pick that i hope you can fix. The stair case with the trip-mines is horribly designed in comparison to original. In the original, the stair case was lit up drawing you re attention to it. The crates in front of stair case where set up to have a gap revealing a bloody hand print from a marines corpse on the other side of crates. This further draws the players attention to the staircase. If you where to redesign this area to be like the original and put a flickering light to draw players attention to staircase this would improve this section.

I like Oar uncut. But have you ever seen a revamp of the vanilla version? I like everything else, but many of them are too poor in detail and quality compared to the final version of the other chapters. Many of them are still early-accessed, and I wish I could just add a retail version, let alone textures and errors.

Have you ever thought of doing a BMCE overhaul of just the vanilla On a Rail chapter? I love a lot of the parts in OaR Uncut (mainly the area with the cargo crane, the dark HECU ambush, and like half of the outdoor sniper battle), but a considerable amount of it is noticeably low-quality compared to the maps in the final product. Not to mention the annoying amount of texture and scripting errors. I just think it'd be really cool to have the option to play the condensed retail version with the addition of the extra character models.

The marine with the rocket launcher can destroy your tram's engine. Initially, I was relieved, since I finally had a reason to ditch the tram and experience the chapter in a new light. Though, I didn't consider that this means you can no longer get past the train-only doors, which means you are effectively softlocked. It would probably be a good idea to make the tram entity invulnerable to avoid future softlocks. Another solution is to remove the train-only doors entirely, allowing for you to progress without the godawful HL1 tram.

Whenever transitioning from the end of OaR to Apprehension the game just stops. It doesn't crash but it kicks back to the menu and I have to load Apprehension directly to proceed.

I have BMSC installed for Apprehension, but I wouldn't think that'd cause an issue since OaR itself now comes with Map A of BMSC's Apprehension.

Anyone know if the softlock with the tram some users are experiencing is a result of this mod or something to do with Black Mesa itself? I saw reference to softlock in OAR as a "known issue" on a developer update from CC in 2020, but it didn't say any details of what the softlock is.

How bad is this issue? Has it been fixed since the comments from last year mentioning it? (I checked the change log, but didn't see anything). Really want to add this to my mods as I have all the other chapter overhauls for my new playthrough, but worried about getting stuck...

You can get softlocked in OaR if the marine shots your tram with a rocket launcher. It'll break and you'll have to go on foot, but the problem is that 2 maps later, you NEED the tram in order to open the next door.

I figured out it was a mod conflict, it's fixed now :D
