The inventory images for tier 2 and 3 are broken

The mod "[WotC] EvilBob's Dejanker" fix that kind of thing and the modder is currently active, I asked for him to add a fix and so he did =)

I'm not sure if anyone could have been getting loot drops of these but it's not just loot pinatas but all upgrades tables get broken because it's trying to assign the heavy barrel loot tables but they are invalid.

Anyway, if you want it to work with loot pinatas (or, probably, at all with loot drops) the file XComGameCore.ini is missing a header section so just add [XComGame.X2LootTableManager] above the +LootTables lines

Hi. I found bug or conflict. I dont get any weapon upgrade loots. I get PCS, elerium core and Chosen information loots but not weapon upgrade loots. I dont have Loot Pinatas or LWOTC. My previous campaigns loots works fine without this mod. I have many mods installed and when i try to pinpoint the problem many times in Gatecrasher (remove all new mods, remove all other upgrade/loot mods, remove this mod, try different mods combos,) it looks like this mod is cause of my lootbug (or is big part of it). Any advice or tips? Anyone else have same problem? Thank you.

@lolcatjunior I use neither of those mods, and I don't really understand how to do so as of yet. However, if you or anyone else would like to adapt this into a LWOTC-friendly version, feel free. I only request that DerBK and I be credited if such a mod is released.

If Proving Ground Overhaul doesn't massively rewrite loot tables as Loot Pinatas seem to do, then it should be compatible (Heavy barrels will drop from enemy loot). However, if PGO's functionality also includes making weapon attachments buildable, then you might not be able to build Heavy Barrels there.

I would hazard Loot Pinatas there. Try disabling that instead of my mod. If it does conflict, I'll put up a notice about incompatibility.

i tried. Deleted the config, put order on xcommodoptions.ini verify game files and nothing.
Yes, yellow loot.

Yellow dropped loot, you mean? Try clearing your configs. Anecdotally speaking, I personally run this mod with 424 others - several of which also add to loot tables - and I still can get heavy barrels as dropped loot from enemies.

Weird. When i activate this mod the enemies don't carry any loot on them. If i disable the mod then the enemies got loot on them again

As for what changed: first and foremost they now actually work. Other than that, they all also have icons, inventory icons, and inventory category icons now. I took the extra time to set those up specific for each weapon, so the icon matches what it actually looks like on the weapon. (Also, a big shout out to Iridar and Veehementia for explaining all this new stuff to me!)

@SolarNougat I'm not sure how to incorporate it directly into this mod either. I could provide you the exact code I used in XComGameCore as a starting point though.

Also, I found out that WSR (currently) does not actually work with non-vanilla weapon attachments such as this one. Iridar said it's an easy fix though, and that WSR will be updated with that feature tomorrow sometime. Once that happens, I'll re-submit my configs for that.

@Kiruka I don't play LWOTC and don't intend to. Still, I do want my mod to play nice with other mods, but it seems like LWOTC itself handles loot tables differently from standard/non-LWOTC. So I'm not sure how to incorporate that fix you described.

I haven't actually seen a heavy barrel drop yet though, so I'll keep going in this campaign and see how it goes. All my fix managed to do for sure was get timed loot working again.

@SolarNougat: I'm not sure how concerned you are with LWOTC compatibility, but I finally got a chance to test Heavy Barrels with it. Did a couple runs of Gatecrasher and found no enemies dropping timed loot. After going through the configs, making some changes and then doing a test, I've figured out that not only do both mods being run side-by-side break timed loot for some reason, but also how to fix this problem.

First, go into Heavy Barrels' XComGame.ini and comment out all the LootEntry lines. Next, go into LWOTC's XComGameCore.ini and add a new line to the BasicWeaponUpgrades loot table for SNHeavyBarrel_Bsc, and then do the same for the advanced/superior versions of the loot tables with advanced/superior heavy barrels, while making sure drop chances are changed around so that the total of the drop chances adds up to 100.

I just went ahead and finished making it. I included Templars' autopistols in addition to the other weapons I already mentioned, just in case folks are using Iridar's Autopistol Overhaul.

I love this upgrade in ABB. Thanks for making this version!

Regarding missing visuals for certain mod weapons, I'm actually planning on making a WSR config for that. Specifically, I'm going to include LWOTC's SMGs, Laser weapons, Coil weapons, Claus' Hunter Rifles, and Iridar's Beowulf Rifles. I could share it if you like.
