Mod is working fine. No conflicts with my mountain of mods.

The resource is supposed to still be there and count toward your luxury resource income when you build a district or wonder on top of it, right? I'm pretty sure that's how it used to work. But now it just makes the resource go away completely. Same with the early strategics (I don't have the late strategics, so I don't know about that one). Anyone else having this problem?

Worked great. Thanks!

@Bunged-up That is strange, I just now started a new game in single player and was able to harvest Cotton right away. I'll do some debugging and add the new resources.

@RavenMistwolf As for making it work with modded resources, I was looking into it a few months ago before I had to take a break from gaming, so it may take a while but I think I'll manage to do it.

Mod is broken by the latest update, the versions for early and late strategics are fine, but this one gives a "Failed to load" error when starting a game.
RavenMistwolf 27 Oct, 2020 @ 10:51pm
Strange. I checked in my games before my last post and it worked with all the official luxuries. It just didn't work with the luxuries added by mods. But I haven't checked since the update. I'll post again within a couple hours if I find that mine no longer works with the official luxuries.

I don't have any luxury mods and this still doesn't work
RavenMistwolf 19 Oct, 2020 @ 5:49am
This doesn't work with the luxuries added by CIVITAS Resources, Sukritact's Resources, or Latin American Resources. (I cannot speak to Resourceful 2 since it became problematic and I stopped using it when the Frontier Pass came out). Please update to make it compatible with resources added by mods!

I could not harest the gypsum and the save game can not be loaded with this mod active.

Can confirm, working now. Thanks for the quick update.
U235  [author] 23 Aug, 2020 @ 8:43pm
It seems to be working fine.
U235  [author] 23 Aug, 2020 @ 8:28pm
Thanks. Just sent a new one. Testing it to confirm right this moment.
Algebraist 23 Aug, 2020 @ 8:22pm
Update breaks the game for me. Unable to start a new game or load old ones. Disabling this mod fixes it.
Tigranes 26 Jul, 2020 @ 2:40pm
Ok thank you very much!

> could you please fix this mod

Test this one out. I don't plan to use it soon but I think it turned out fine when I tried.

I learned about it here

Oddly enough restarting Civ this morning sorted things out, thanks! While we are talking about SQL modding could you please fix this mod

it's only has few lines and is very useful. No matter what I do I never experience dark age and therefore never experience heroic age. Era points just keep piling up no matter how bad I play. I am curious about those dark age policies!

What exactly does determine that famous "update order"? The date of my subscription?
U235  [author] 22 Jul, 2020 @ 6:20pm
You mean the civilopedia is showing standard values even with the Less Effective Luxuries mod? That's weird, the cover image of that mod with coffee and cinnamon is taken right from it showing the updated values. All luxuries show +2/+3 amenities for me. Do you have any other mod that does something to resources? It may be an issue with update order. If you suspect incompatibility with some other mod or custom map let me know and I'll look into it, at least to state it explicitly.

The thing about Furs and Tobacco having negative amenities is very interesting and certainly possible with Lua scripting. Would be nice to have it turn negative after a certain tech or civic. If I ever get to learn a bit about Lua I may as well make it. With just SQL it is possible to set it to negative at all times, but I don't think anyone would want that.
Tigranes 20 Jul, 2020 @ 6:37am
Yes it did, thank you, although Pedia kept the old info, which is fine. Playing on custom global maps with all the possible luxuries one gets too much happiness from things like Ivory and Whales. There has to be some smart way to nerf and decommission all that nonsense. World is not such a happy place IMO. Certain Luxuries, like Tobacco or Furs need to have an opposite effect and anger people.

Yeah, I still need to confirm how the AI handles these harvests to put that in the description. Meanwhile, these single statement SQL mods are easy enough to make. I won't use it myself, but I made this https://steamhost.cn/steamcommunity_com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=2171354504 Let me know if it works as intended.
Tigranes 18 Jul, 2020 @ 5:00pm
Everything looks pretty balanced, but I am not sure how AI handles this. Can you make a mod that decreases amenities from luxuries? Say one resource takes care of 2 cities and not 4.
U235  [author] 18 Jul, 2020 @ 4:56pm
@Tigranes Glad you like it. If you have any thoughts regarding game balance and the amounts provided when harvesting with a builder, I'd be happy to consider updating it.
Tigranes 13 Jul, 2020 @ 2:16pm
It was a very good idea to split your harvest mods into 3. Everyone can pick what he needs.
