Nice mod, I just found a mountain chain in a desert and wanted to confirm that I got both buffs, so that works. The first 15 turns were slow, but building a chain of farms along the mountains gave me some yield.

your mod has been translated by Junky into German and the translation is now part of the German translations for Civilization VI mods mod pack.
We would be more than happy if you could refer to the language translation in your mod description.

I think you made the right call taking out the disaster immunity. I mean, it's not like Kansas doesn't get devastated just because people built basements.

Why aren't tundra farms also get 1 faith? If that's the case, +1 food for non flood plains desert farm instead of faith would be nice

Floodplains are Feature, not a terrain type. So they should count.

Can it be related to specific DLC setup? Cuz I don't have all of them to enable EpsMod as a pack, instead just subscribed to tweaks. What if something in the Movement tweak does not affecting the game right if there is no specific DLC?

Somehow I found that Adaptation tweak does conflicts with Movement tweak. Having them separately in my starts makes them work, but together:
- no extra movement points;
- no farms on tundra, thou the production bonus is applied for settling on 7+ tundra tiles.

@Junky yes, sir. The last screenshot in my gallery illustrates that I settled on 10 tundra tiles within radius of 2 and still can't get farm on tundra.

It was a feature at one point. But unfortunately the protection worked inconcistently, so I scrapped it.

In your mod i see that you also prevent upcoming events like dust storms for desert adaption,
prevent blizzards for tundra/snow adaptions, prevents volcano outbreaks for mountain adaption.

Does it work like expected? Why didn't you insert this in the mod description?

Doesn't work. I settled my capital multiple times as Peter on tundra tiles and got adaptation message, but each time I couldn't build farms on tundra.

Giving access to unique units related to desert nations as an example.

Great mod. A snow specific bonus would be nice for arctic civs though, something like camps are buildable on snow tiles without needing a resource and gain +1 production or +1 food (or both).

Takes about 5 or so rerolls for me.

Problem is that it's hard to get 5 mountain tiles in a useful set up and they tend to have hills near them preventing farms next to them. But, a good roll can make for some amazing mountain tiles.

Yes. If there are enough tiles to satisfy both adaptations, you will get both. But getting that would be like winning the lottery, as the map generation script avoids putting you in terrain like that.

Hm, that would make things a lot more complicated. Also I don't want the bonus to be transferable because for civs that do start in favorable terrain, I want tundra and desert to remain unappealing. I think the game ends up being more interesting that way.

AI Gandhi built no farms in his Tundra Capital, despite existing for several dozen(120-ish) turns and improving several other tiles and building the great bath.
Would be possible for conquered capitals to confer this bonus to their conqueror?
And if possible would you be willing to create an Eps Tweak that adds such a mechanic?

Would it be possible to create a version independent of starting position? Be it attached to a tech/civic or perhaps a building. Perhaps a desert adaptation building unlocked by Petra, a Tundra/snow one unlocked by the building that boosts tundra yeilds, and a mountain one with Michu Pichu.

Checked, Canada gets the bonuses to it's farms. Though having taken a closer look at Canada, I approve of it getting the bonus.

Have you considered some other boost to Inca/Mali/Russia? Though I suppose Russia and Mali benefit from being able to build farms now.
Also, what about Canada? From the wording Canada still get a bonus. Going to test it now.
