If I want to use the more balanced one do I need to unsub from this one?

Great mod, thanks. The base mod was updated recently to fix a bug, may be this one needs an update too???

Not only is this spectacular, it lessens the odds of my supposedly masterful spellcasters killing themselves trying to cast basic spells on a band of goblins. Nice.

When the miscast triggers the spell still goes off as if it hasn't. Is this intended?

Doesn't need an update, works just fine. If you do encounter something, please let me know.

Yes.
gochiviyo 27 Aug, 2020 @ 10:41am
it is save game compatible?
chorious 23 Aug, 2020 @ 11:36pm
I have just adjusted it for me.

radius:11 damage:150 damage AP:400

so it will not send your troops to see Gods cause you place your lord and heroes too close to your troops, but it will still greatly harm your units.

I toned down the damage quite a bit so you couldn't obliterate low healthed squads..

This looks like a toned down version of the Miscast mod, why would it be unbalanced for vanilla? Looks like you cut all the debuff penalties by by one-third (except speed debuff, which is much less) and the fatigue penalties by one-half. The damage values (20/20) are the same. Is that right?

Personally I felt the miscast mod as it stood was way too abusable even in vanilla. Your changes seem fine with vanilla. I've been looking for a version of that mod that just tones things down abit, but kept the awesome feeling.
