great! I've been trying to find one! Thanks!
ekisai 22 Feb, 2023 @ 1:27am
someone already made 1.4 if anyone's still looking here https://steamhost.cn/steamcommunity_com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=2937012139
Alundra (Alunny) 4 Feb, 2023 @ 5:53pm
We need more people in the world who are nicer and welcoming to developers :D
ELLIOTTCABLE on Discord 4 Feb, 2023 @ 10:39am
Just backing up @KubeRoot on this one. Although I think they could have been nicer about it.

I'll assume @Garret is probably new to GitHub; welcome!! It's cool as shit! You really should use the "fork" button, and make sure you're committing any files necessary to generate your artifacts, not just source-code, though. Thank you so much for contributing :D
KubeRoot 26 Dec, 2022 @ 10:12am
That's kinda how development works..
I'd be inclined to disagree - The point of tools like git is to keep a version history, and the fork feature on github works for that that. You're expected to fork the original source, make your own changes and commit them to your repository.

This means your repository has the finished product, and people looking to build it don't need to add other files to it.

Because of how git works, people can easily see what changes you've done by looking at the commits, and similarly you can use a pull request to submit your changes to the original repository.

In the end, I'm not really involved here, so I don't want to argue or try to convince you to change your workflow. However, I disagree with the way you portrayed the situation and I think you're not making the best use of the development tools involved, so I wanted to chime in. (I had a longer comment, but character limit)
And, most importantly... Thanks for updating the mod!
Garret 29 Nov, 2022 @ 5:17pm
@onoira, thanks? Was there a question?
I didnt push the other files because I was first working on the C# code. As I make changes to the files (if I have too), I'll push the changes to the repo. That's kinda how development works..
As for the other files, defs and textures, these are downloaded in the Mod's folder when you subscribe to it annnnnnnd will be included in the repo if/when changes are made to the files.

Questions? :)
yumechi 27 Nov, 2022 @ 3:52pm
@ Garret : Your GitHub repo wasn't forked; it's only the C# source and some VS artefacts. The repo is missing the defs and texture files, which isn't helpful to anyone who might need it — including you. It's also missing the license file. The only changes you made were the About file and creating a 1.4 directory from 1.3.
BlackFranky 22 Nov, 2022 @ 9:20am
This version of the mod does work well for 1.4.
hellosharkness 21 Nov, 2022 @ 12:29pm
@Dizzy Ioeuy Who knows :( Maybe the person who put it up was contacted by orignal author? (It wasn't my mod)
kooky112 20 Nov, 2022 @ 5:52pm
@blazinglmp77151 the 1.4 fork was taken down for some reason. I was subbed to it and when I went to play the other day the mod was outright removed from my list :(
HIVEMIND 20 Nov, 2022 @ 7:01am
wake up samurai
BlazingImp77151 20 Nov, 2022 @ 6:55am
so even if this works in 1.4, wasn't there a 1.4 fork? what happened to that, I cant find it.
Fujite 19 Nov, 2022 @ 11:16am
Just fyi, this mod works fine in 1.4. Just ignore the" incorrect version" message.
separat.mn 19 Nov, 2022 @ 6:00am
True
The Bard of Hearts 18 Nov, 2022 @ 10:29pm
That's fair. Still gotta give the man(/woman?) credit. Hopefully someone picks up this mod. It was a good one.
separat.mn 18 Nov, 2022 @ 10:26pm
Unfortunately, this will affect the "quality" of these mods. To be honest, it would be better if someone either helped him or let someone else update this particular mod. It's been a month since the NWNL update, and there are mod bug reports but Miles doesn't fix any mods until he updates all the others.
The Bard of Hearts 18 Nov, 2022 @ 5:58pm
Sure he can... he's a god... (just playin')
separat.mn 18 Nov, 2022 @ 5:56pm
And Miles can't handle all mods
separat.mn 18 Nov, 2022 @ 5:55pm
Yes. But Mile has already booked another almost 200 mods, less than 40 of which he already has under his care are waiting for updates, and some of them still need to be fixed, because despite the update they still have bugs. E.g. no water no life. There is only one Miles, there are probably over 200 mods that will take over.
The Bard of Hearts 18 Nov, 2022 @ 5:52pm
We should see if Mlie will pick this one up. He's saved hundreds of mods from going into the dumpster.
separat.mn 18 Nov, 2022 @ 11:38am
With all due respect to the mod author. Why was he removed from the workshop? It was possible to make a description that causes problems (if it causes) and only supplement the description with conflict mods.
Eselt 18 Nov, 2022 @ 11:18am
Any word on anyone picking it up? I supposed it's too soon but one can hope.
Dakon 18 Nov, 2022 @ 9:06am
I never understood why people delete mods from the workshop.
Why not unlist the mod instead, so it doesn't cause problems for people that were using it.

I hope this gets an 1.4 update.
Killer Tamashi 17 Nov, 2022 @ 8:59pm
arl screw me ig, no 1.4 life support for me :V
Fulgor555 17 Nov, 2022 @ 8:50pm
why was this removed i just got these set up too only for them to disappear ? ? plz bring back
Cirdain 17 Nov, 2022 @ 7:52pm
gfdi the 1.4 was deleted?
g-fourteen 17 Nov, 2022 @ 7:19pm
dang 1.4 deleted, worked fine
Gerewoatle 17 Nov, 2022 @ 5:04pm
For some reason they never made it work with the 1.4 version of Death Rattle anyway. Guess it was just easier to delete it.
Fisherman_56 17 Nov, 2022 @ 4:54pm
What the?
Mod was deleted from workshop.
Dizzy Ioeuy 17 Nov, 2022 @ 4:47pm
Aaaaand it's gone... Slavidor what happened?
Alex_ 27 Oct, 2022 @ 12:56am
Thanks you sexy cow.
Dizzy Ioeuy 25 Oct, 2022 @ 12:34pm
Thank you slavidor!!!!
hellosharkness 25 Oct, 2022 @ 12:14pm
If anyone has issues this version is being maintained by someone else https://steamhost.cn/steamcommunity_com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=2036610942
Kupie 22 Oct, 2022 @ 10:07am
Works on 1.4
Dizzy Ioeuy 21 Oct, 2022 @ 8:10pm
Would be reallllllly ironic if this died....
MrSpacePenguin 21 Oct, 2022 @ 11:34am
will this get update for 1.4?
Evono 21 Oct, 2022 @ 10:29am
1.4 planned?
Tam 6 Oct, 2022 @ 9:36am
lets pray he will, i cant imagine rimworld without death rattle + LSC
Papito 6 Oct, 2022 @ 8:43am
Are you planning on updating this mod for 1.4?
Teneksi 4 Oct, 2022 @ 11:27am
so if someone gets some vital organs blown up in the field, death rattle lets them cling to life long enough to be brought to life support, where they can be kept alive until replacements are ready

without the life support system, their hours would be numbered, and you'd need replacements and a surgeon ready to go before that grace period closes

& without death rattle they would've been dead the moment they got blown up
Peluceus Donmian 3 Oct, 2022 @ 6:29pm
@CheeseWheelGuy the life support mod acts as a fully functioning organ set. Death rattle gives you a sort of timer from a missing, destroyed, or failed organ. Their interaction basically would be if your life support system shuts down for whatever reason, you have a small window of time to get it back up and running before anyone who needed to be connected expires.
CheeseWheelGuy 22 Aug, 2022 @ 1:53pm
how does it work with death tick or whatever the mod is that lets pawns not instantly die from missing organs?
Alundra (Alunny) 18 Feb, 2022 @ 9:37am
Hmm okay thank you so much :D
Tec 17 Feb, 2022 @ 4:30am
@Alundra if i understand correctly, things like inflammation, infections, flue's etc will still kill a patient if it reaches 100%. Life support just stops a person dying if they are missing vital organs. When paired with the mod that makes it so pawns dont die immediately from vital organs, this is when this mod comes in handy.
Alundra (Alunny) 14 Feb, 2022 @ 6:53am
Umm somehow my pawn still died? :(
