I know that you didn't make this mod, so there's probably not much you're able/willing to do when it comes to functionality, but in Star Wars canon, lightsabers technically can't deflect non-laser projectiles. Attempting to deflect a metal bullet causes it to become a spray of red-hot metal directed towards the lightsaber-wielder's face, and actually causes much more damage than the bullet would've.
If you can't/won't edit the mod to allow this to be an option, I extend an invitation to any other mod creators who might be interested in making an add-on that adds this functionality (though I don't even know if a laser blaster mod exists already or not...).
Alternatively, buy from a trader.
Encountered only one thing, i can craft the lightsabers at the fueled/electric smithy and the fabrication bench. The components for the lightsabers only shown at the fabrication bench.
Playing with CE and Techadvancing mod. So being able to craft lightsabers in neolithic/medieval times seems a bit overpowered.
Would it be also possible to lock those lightsabers behind a research similiar to powered melee weapons research? Would do it myself but dont know how if im honest :)

If I have a character armed with a lightsaber and various tools, Simple Sidearms wants them to switch to using the tool, which is, you know, a good thing. The problem is that if I want them to switch lightsaber crystals, I can't.
I can draft the pawn and tell them to unload their crystal, which is fine, but if I give them an order to load another crystal, I get a "Blat!" order-rejected sound, and at the top of the screen it tells me "<Pawn> is drafted" as an excuse for not loading a lightsaber crystal.
The best solution would be to modify the loading job to function even when the pawn is drafted; I can see situations where you don't want to undraft a pawn to have them load or swap crystals/motors.
So I made a mod to fix that. Thanks for keeping this up-to-date, Mile.
