cool mod
Old Ben 24 Dec, 2024 @ 5:06pm
My current game is using this mod in version 3.14.* and it still works just fine. But I'm not lucky enough to always find the warp gate to it in my systems.

3.10?

One of my favorite stellaris mod. still works 3.9.3

@Gui Montag,

Yes it does create wormholes to the clusters. :)
Gui Montag 28 Apr, 2023 @ 2:22pm
maybe a dumb question but if I spawn an extragalactic cluster, how do you get to it? does it create an extra wormhole somewhere in the galaxy?
briffajordan00 3 Apr, 2023 @ 10:51pm
@jbynum how do I spawn all clusters because I can only seem to spawn extragalactic clusters 2 and 4
Old Ben 15 Feb, 2023 @ 7:28pm
I using it in my current game with latest Stellaris update and have no issues.
Beast-Storm 23 Dec, 2022 @ 1:14am
Does this mod work still in 3.6???
jbynum 11 Oct, 2022 @ 5:39am
Console Command
There are 5 individual clusters that you can add.
Example: event extragalactic_cluster.#1

event extragalactic_cluster.#

Any plans to update to 3.3? Thank you for your time.
Link3000XD 3 Mar, 2022 @ 3:04am
... kidna wish .. if possible, that this could be made an option when you create or start a round.
not everyone wants to use the console to "form the game" ...gamer-ethics lolol. :goggles:
Anonymous 2 Mar, 2022 @ 6:14pm
@jbynum what's the console command?
jbynum 2 Mar, 2022 @ 10:29am
And yes, you need to SAVE before each attempt. Should you type in the wrong coordinates (#), it is easy to create clusters that overlap, and are a pain in the a** to navigate around. Good luck !
jbynum 2 Mar, 2022 @ 10:26am
From the original mod of this type, I learned that by using the cheat command to spawn clusters, I was able to add 4 more, resulting in a total of 5 clusters per map.
wacster 18 Feb, 2022 @ 4:58pm
Is it possible to have all the clusters in game?
Fred Des Ducs 31 Dec, 2021 @ 3:22am
@abadur Thank you for keeping this mod active.
Link3000XD 27 Dec, 2021 @ 10:46pm
oh and, from the original mod description only one cluster gets added?
why not like 3 or 4 around the universe, that would be so cool :D
Link3000XD 27 Dec, 2021 @ 10:19pm
uhhhh what are those clusters? they are different from L-clusters if i look at it right, i was lookign after expansions for the L-cluster but adding more clusters around the big disk constellarion in the middle also sounds awesome.
𝓐𝓫𝓪𝓭𝓾𝓻  [author] 27 Dec, 2021 @ 5:25am
I have removed possibility to jump to extragalactic clusters.
doctornull 27 Dec, 2021 @ 5:02am
@Spazimaus - that's an issue from the core game, you can do the same insta-jump if you find a disconnected system like the one with the Corrupted Psionic Entity.

The solution is probably to make speculative hyperlane travel take a fixed amount of time and not bother looking at distance calculations.
Fred Des Ducs 2 Dec, 2021 @ 9:07am
Not working anymore... Or does it for you?
Spatzimaus 3 Aug, 2021 @ 9:18pm
I love his mod, and often play with four clusters activated, but it's very unbalanced in the long term. Once your survey ships can do those extraspatial jumps, their travel time becomes irrelevant. (Jump to an extragalactic cluster, jump back down, no travel time used either direction). The solution would be to give these clusters the same flag as the L-cluster, where survey ships simply can't jump to those systems at all. I mean sure, I just force myself not to abuse this mechanic to get the same effect, but it's still not balanced.

Is there way to pm the author. I have a question for them
Beast-Storm 25 May, 2021 @ 6:37pm
When can we expect an update?
Ruhadre 25 May, 2021 @ 3:42am
Any chance for a Guilli's Planet Modifier patch, please? :)
Sjru 🐲 12 May, 2021 @ 11:58am
Update?
Old Ben 20 Apr, 2021 @ 2:45pm
Have this in a updated 3.0.* game and it still seems to work just fine.
RogueSkeptic 17 Apr, 2021 @ 9:56pm
Will this get updated to 3.0?
VS-lockon 5 Jan, 2021 @ 5:02am
is there a gate way one ?
Gentleman-Velociraptors 31 Dec, 2020 @ 2:51pm
@CaptainArchmage No, it creates a second extragalactic cluster.
CaptainArchmage 22 Dec, 2020 @ 6:16pm
Out of curiosity - does this mod overwrite the L-cluster?
𝓐𝓫𝓪𝓭𝓾𝓻  [author] 11 Dec, 2020 @ 12:28am
@WokeNecromancer Yes, it spawns only one of 5 possible. It's how the original mod works and I think it's enough.
Fix Stellaris 8 Dec, 2020 @ 11:44pm
it only spawns one cluster for me on any galaxy size..
Decima 3 Dec, 2020 @ 6:21am
@Draconas, good to know, thanks.
Draconas 3 Dec, 2020 @ 3:57am
Hello @Uthur, EGS Author here.
Most important thing: these mods are not in any way compatible unless @𝓐𝓫𝓪𝓭𝓾𝓻 has done a load of work on this version, do not attempt to run them both.

The main change between EGS and the original clusters was that I moved some of the clusters to allow them all to spawn at once (and spawn with any of them used for a start option), also I believe the original mod only ever spawned 1, while EGS always spawns all of them. The actual content of the clusters is the same.

Second change is that EGS allows them to link with a wormhole chain or L-gate and original mod only used wormholes.
Decima 2 Dec, 2020 @ 10:37am
So what's the difference between this mod and the Extragalactic Clusters Start mod (https://steamhost.cn/steamcommunity_com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=1999512770) when it comes to the clusters and game mechanics? I know that the other mod can spawn you inside a cluster, but other than that what would be the differences? Is either mod more compatible with other mods? Does this mod have more clusters that can spawn in/better spawning scripts? Since I don't use the origins from the other mod I was wondering if there is any benefit to swapping over to this mod.
Jeb 30 Nov, 2020 @ 10:56am
@doctornull None of the clusters should overlap and only seeing 3 clusters in the selection menu is a load order conflict most of the time. The option to generate all clusters is in the decision menu.
rafaelbeanhunter 29 Nov, 2020 @ 1:42pm
Cool mod for if you need a last stand, for example if an invasion turns wrong and you get invaded by a powerful nation.
doctornull 29 Nov, 2020 @ 11:41am
Looking at the other mod's description, it seems like there are 5 possible clusters, and you can generate 3 of them (2 pairs would overlap).

Is it possible to make the 2 pairs not overlap, and generate all 5 clusters?
XCABAL 28 Nov, 2020 @ 8:33pm
@Wuren The cluster is spawned in on day 2 and about 3 wormholes are placed in the galaxy that lead to it. Galaxy size to my knowledge does not effect it.
Rhaeven 28 Nov, 2020 @ 5:18pm
So how does accessibility to these clusters work exactly? I imagine it's different from the L-Gate cluster and the L-Portals, so do you get tho these extragalactic clusters via wormholes? And how many extragalactic clusters spawn and does the galaxy size matter in these clusters?

Standalone
Lord Strahl 27 Nov, 2020 @ 8:05pm
is this a patch for the original mod or a replacement that was updated?
