Jolly- I had to place the wind turbine on the surface... and it was destroyed in every attack... but every attack ends after some time - due to lack of fuel, ammunition, or the attackers fighting with ships of other factions. My survival kit moved underground always contained a supply of parts to rebuild the turbines (I acquired more of them over time) so I repaired them, and when I could, I built batteries underground. Actually, that would have been enough for me to survive, but - so that the attacks would not interfere with my calmly digging into the underground chambers of the base, I pulled out parts of the reactor and uranium from the wrecked ships (of which there are more and more in the area) :) And I could power myself with whatever I wanted. But as a curiosity I will add that yes - surprisingly, turbines work underground. In a large room of the underground hangar I put a turbine for testing and it gave enough electricity to power the survival kit :)

So if this is run beside another encounter mod like say.. Cylons, Orks or Star Trek. Will those factions try to fight other NPC factions now?

I dont know why, but I have been waiting for some form of attack and nothing has come yet. how long do I have to wait for an attack to trigger?

but at the same time - congratulations :) you finally made this game - difficult :) from a boring construction game - a challenge for strategists :) the enemy attacks from the beginning.... I managed to dig a tiny bunker in the ground, and I've been staying in it for three days, shooting at enemy spaceships with a small pistol, and looking for an opportunity to finish them off with a grinder :))) It's true that any development will be long, but - finally a challenge :)

hey - a few people have asked this before, and none of them got an answer - what's up with the recommendation "disable cargo ships and encounters/drones"? what happens if they are enabled? in other versions of More Encounters there is no such recommendation, or is it even in one that they should be enabled?

Why do I start off with the worst reputation with Space Pirates and they send end-game attacks before i could even build 1 block for my base?

I cheated with a large grid, 8+ turrets with build/repair nanobots mod and still got my ass handed to me cuz before i could repair the last damage, they came with another wave... I can't even get to Magnesium to keep up with ammo production at the rate they kept sending those attacks...

Is this supposed to be impossible? :really:

space pirates already starts with the lowest reputation possible and they atack regardles i having guns or not, it makes impossible to play, before i even build a starter base everything just get shreded by theirs 2-3 ships filled with gatling guns, i even already tryed underground bases, but since they just managed to shred the biggest amount of gatling "towers" that i managed to create 3-4, i even used some armored decoys and still didnot helped, its not even viable to keep this mod enabled, this mod needs serious balancing tweaks

For the people that are having their worlds crash when they're starting their saves, check if you have this mod downloaded because if you do have these two mods enabled it'll crash your world/save.

@Moonweb I had an issue similar with everything being friendly before and it was because i hadnt actually created myself a faction. Have you done the same?

Oh, and another issue is that even though the ships in the mod are meant to belong to SEM they don't seem to. Attacking them doesn't reduce relationship with SEM.

The mod seems good, from what I can see but the main issue I have is that everything spawns as friendly and yet the drones will attack us. Since they are friendly, base turrets will not shoot them and it's impossible to defend against them properly. Their first main attack on our base with rockets was devastating.
I used admin to push relationship with SEM below -500 and they STILL spawn as friendly. I can go to the trading ships just fine, but the code for the drones really needs another look. If they are intended to attack the player they should be enemies off the bat, and if they are friendly the drones should ignore us.

Pick a lane please.

Using this on a dedicated server, having an issue where IMDC, VOID, MERC and some other factions have cargo ships spawn but they just sit there, they dont fly in any direction, just sit there untill they either run out of hydrogen/power or get attacked by hostile faction drones

Quick Question: Me and my friends have been at war with Sems for ages and are tired. We want peace! How can I do this? I decleared war on Junkers but that didn't give me rep for SEMS. We're being overwhelmed! Please help xD

I tryed to make this happen. i made a faction and made war on Junk,Imdc,SEMS,Vore,ISL, and they stay hostile on world reload/relaunch. maybe a copy of world log file as it load could help if you post it in the discord room etc.

I made a fresh world adding AI mods in one by one, once i got to Yours specifically, this one and the others. and it added in all those factions, id declare war on them upon reload all the wars are back to neutral with them. please fix it

I removed EEM. and i'm still having my faction rep reset upon each reload. i've removed all ur ai mods listed above and testing it now

Why does having this mod reset my faction rep qith all other factions every time i relaunch? besides the default Agro ones this ai mods resets all the ones i was red with or delcared war with back to neutral.

I used to yoink that little ship attached to it on my moon worlds all the time, it became a thing for me n my friends and we even named it timmy haha. but the past year or so i haven't seen it spawn the station anymore in space so i'm not sure if you just stopped using the grid or i got the wrong Faction name.

Subscribed to this today in spite of the warning not to. Seems to work fine. Spawns are working, no conflicts or crashes.
