How compatible is this mod with a More cities mod?
WorthiestNIC 16 Jun, 2021 @ 12:05am
I will definitely credit you both

Awesome thank you for letting me know this information its extremely helpful. Also thank you for allowing me to use your version of mundus magnus for a future Sub-campagin/sub mod.

@Worthiest yeah you can use the mundus magnus version when you want to. Just make sure you also credit the creator of totalis bellum, since I included his mod into mine. As for turning factions into others, you can change the culture of factions but you would also have to make new unit skins for whatever units you intend on making. I don't have that kind of modding experience but online there is probably a lot.

One thing I'd like to ask is how complicated is it to turn an existing faction into a different faction ? The reason I'm asking is one of my plans for a custom campaign was on the mundus magnus map I'd make the S.P.Q.R united with the other Roman's being like a Roman Gaul or Roman Greece stuff like that.

Thank you for allowing me to use both I'll be crediting you for both of the custom campaigns that i'm going to create and that's ok i'm mostly keeping it a more vanilla experience anyway like my main mod. In the future though I plan on making mundus magnus version with many changes at that point I may ask if I can use some of your newer unit and building modifications assets to help with it if that's ok.
Nick1assassin  [author] 12 Jun, 2021 @ 11:05pm
@WorthiestNIC, yeah you can use that version aswell if you want. The only difference between this version and the united rome version is just the combination of the roman factions. Just note, I did not apply any of my newer unit and building modifications to these mods.
WorthiestNIC 12 Jun, 2021 @ 9:35pm
It would be used to create a S.P.Q.R version of united Rome.
WorthiestNIC 12 Jun, 2021 @ 9:29pm
Awesome thank you :lunar2019smilingpig: ill credit you as well. Would I also be able to use your united Rome version assets to ?
Nick1assassin  [author] 12 Jun, 2021 @ 9:23pm
@WorthiestNIC yeah sure you can use this, go right ahead.
WorthiestNIC 12 Jun, 2021 @ 4:22pm
@Nick1assassin would I be allowed to create a provincial campaign using this mods assets for my main S.P.Q.R mod ? I really like this mod and the idea of huge factions at the start :)

Glad to hear that. I will play with that once it is posted. Good luck! :-)
Nick1assassin  [author] 5 May, 2021 @ 9:10am
I do plan on doing that, I just want to make sure this unified rome has all the named family members from each roman house.
Varangian 5 May, 2021 @ 9:08am
I'd love to see a version of this with a unified Rome. :-)

I simulated a campaign of about 75 turns as Britannia just chilling in the Isle to see what the AI would do. Most likely the Briton AI would just fight Gaul, maybe Germania and Spain.

So the Thracians did get bodied really fast so I think I will give them Byzantium so the can survive longer and the Parthians I will improve their starting economy so they can build up better in early game. The Parthians lasted about 60 turns and were finished by Armenia. All other factions are still going strong.

The Romans kind of did something, the julii and brutii did some island sniping but the scipii literally did nothing the whole game, didn't even try to take lilybeaum or Carthage. Maybe they need more units at the start to be motivated to attack or something.

If you are going to give Massilia to Greece, you should absolutely give Galatia to Gaul.

They probably won't hold it long but it is historically accurate and hilarious.

Great work.

Thrace and Parthia are going to get wrecked. Seleucids too, as always. Especially with Egypt getting a better start.

I loved these mods that remove rebels. Does anyone tried a longer round (50-100 turns) and can give some tips how well the remastered roman AI can handle this setting?

Will the romans faction still expand, or are the basically blocked to italy?

wouldn't rome be too weak?
