With hard way i meant " i dont have the motivation to play a campaing with some faction to get to a point where i can see if they give a damn about elite limitations", however it REALLY doesnt matter so no need to check yourself i was just wondering if you would have an idea about this being compatible with limitations. Propably gonna chek it myself actuallly so just ignore.

@ NInjaKatt Sorru mate currently i am so full i cannot check. You will not have any trouble in your game or your PC if you check though. I will try to do so but it may takes some days..

You're welcome.. :) I chose some mods, that fits into my gameplay experience and all working well!! I'm very happy, because this add new dimension of reality into game itself - but You already described it better, than me, in descriptions.. :) I think, that we have similar mind - and want similar gameplay.. :)

Hey, Phalangitis.. Your mods.. It sounds awesome!!

I found them by accident and..I'm definitely going to try them!! It almost sound to perfect to be truth!! And I don't mean only this mod, but Epic Campaing, better provincies (or something like it) etc..
Just don't understand why I haven't seen Your mods here before!! I really hope, that they will work on "non english" version of game (I have Czech version).. But will give a try and even if it would not work, I just want You to know, how happy You made me - finaly someone, who really cares for history and authenticity (and not making mods like "Soviet grenadiers" or some other strange bullshit)!!

I'm writing this comment here, but You can imagine it at many other mods of Yours, but I don't want to spam Your mods with same comments :)
And..forgive me my errors - as I said, English isn't my native language...

yeah I saw that you made another version of the slave mod. I'll check it out later. Kind of waiting on the Emperor Edition of the update to start a new campaign with its changes.

to tell you the truth you have a point and that is kind strange..We are complaigning about game too easy AI stupid but people tend to subscribe only to better looking and more easy gameplay mods..My nr 1 in popularuty mod is Slave mod.when i published all were saying you made the prise too high and we gain a lot of money.So i made a version i which you gain fewer.Not 1/10 of the people subscribe to it.. Anyway thank you and cheers

I still use this mod(and with his Epic Campaigns), in my opinion it makes the enemy armies come at you with a better range of units and now with the new difficulty of Patch 14 it makes the fighting very interesting. Who knows, maybe that is why not many people use this mod. Too hard for them =p

ive used this mod, and the armies i came up against were better balanced and comprised of better units.
Exactly what the mod says it does, what more could you ask for?

@Tdub16- It's a bit better than the more popular Better AI recruitment mod which virtually eliminates AI skirmishers and adds too many spears. This mod has better balance, its effect on the game is significant, and you should definitely give it a try.

1)it works but it works better under 2 conditions.a) the factions must have barracks of level enough to produce elite armies or (you cannot except factions of level 1 barracks to produce cataphracts do you?) b)to subscribe to my epic campaign mod to bypass this problem
2)you wont get 3 yes because this mod is quite old and not many people visit the page anymore. 500 people are using it though and it is a 4 star mod so this should mean something
3) i dont gain anything if you download it or not so you dont have to bargain and then again testing is free...

i believe that it is compatible but will affect only the vanilla units if any in DEI.The custom units will not be affected in smart recruitment

thanks the slinger thing happens sometime when the enemy has low tec barracks.It is dramaticaly changed afterwards.For best results i recoment using also epic campaign mod.It is radical just read the description and you will get the picture of what it does..

Love that pic! My only concern with this mod is that the AI **may** still be building too many missile infantry. As macedon, I got zerged by a bunch of athenian slingers from the sea. Though they were coming with regular hoplites, which was nice. The thracians to the north in the same campaign came with a large stack comsisting of all but 2 missle units, which I loved. So far, this mod seems to be letting me focus on the melees of the game, which are the best part. :)
Many, many thanks for making such a mod. While I do like that other AI recruiment mod and its focus on melee-oriented AI builds, I cannot stand how so many aspects of the game are changed therein. THis keeps it simple, and I like to think how the game was meant to be played.
