Any plane to make a re2 version of this ship?

New (Vanilla) player here. This is an excellent upgrade from my starter CV (your Wayfarer-ST2). The upgrade instructions were excellent (as they are on all your ships), and RP areas were easily converted to expand grow plots. I find the fully upgraded ship to be excellent for multi-system expeditions for mining and salvaging in sometimes hostile areas as well as occasional POI clearing.

The only issue with this ship is that the mining cockpit windows were too dark and needed to be flipped.

A aux core is a RE exclusive core that can be constructed by salvage drone ships and POIs.
You can toggle territory view in galaxy map to find drone territory. There are also drone presence in random space sectors and on planet surfaces. Usually on high difficulty planet type such as hell(not lava)
You can search keywords on Youtube for videos and tips for more details.

i got along great with your beginner cv wayfarer-st2 right from the start, the upgrade list was especially helpful.
I am happy that you've kept it for the mcrn -258.
the game is hard enough for a beginner...especially reforged eden...first have to find out how i get auxillary cores, haven't found any drones yet....but that will be ok :D

this is my CV for my current game and i love it. though it took an embarrassingly long time to notice the boarding ramp on the bottom floor.

just wanted to say i was watching your evolution of bases video and you showed how to fix the tinting on the windows which worked great. the tint on the mining windows is backward so i couldn't see jack when trying to mine.

Great ship JRandall. This big boarding ramp, you say it's also for loading, is it meant to pick-up a small loaded HV or just several players at once? Thanks.

@jrandall, do you have the color scheme for the MCRN? I remember seeing it somewhere but cannot find it now...

I started out with the Pioneer, which is a nice little starter. This is a nice upgrade to that! I like the idea of the mining bay cockpit. I had added a multi turret to the Pioneer, but asteroid mining was always a little clumsy. I did find one little mistake on this. The lcd on deck 5 at the elevator, telling you what floor you're on, states that you're on deck 1: Engineering. Easy fix, just thought I'd give anyone who subscribes the heads up, so they can fix it.

@JRandall, i didn't test it as far as powering up the RE ship, guess i should have, i just saw the panel lights weren't lighting up. so removed em. my bad lol

@Twospirited, hmm. I thought they would work regardless of having visible sunlight or not. I have noticed the solar panels do not light up or show any sign of working, but testing I did have a ship turn on without any generators/fuel with some solar panels attached to it. I will have to try that again and see if something changed (RE). Thanks again!

well, solar's not affected by much, but they won't work inside a ship, so i guess player placed blocks block them from working

@jrandall, here's a vanilla upgraded for you as well, otherwise same as my RE upgrade

To clear the back thrusters in Fracture RE I had to remove the combat steel blocks aft of the engines and replace them to be farther removed from the exhaust. Not as clean or pretty but it works. Jrandall, I took a pick of what I had to do. If you want it let me know where to send/post.

it's spawns in fine for me, but i use just RE, not sure what changes Fracture brings in

i released an upgrade variant for this, @jrandall's put it in his description

I spawned it into Fracture RE and the back thrusters are blocked. Any idea why before I try fixing?

Thank you Twospirited and AlphaStrik3. @AlphaStrik3, you are correct, it has no solar. I didn't really have a good spot to add them and also you can use solar in vanilla on CV's. As in the power question, IDK exactly. I had fuel in the ship when taking the screen shots and it was on. It just was not moving or constructing anything. I guess I am a bit confused as well. lol. It has 2 advanced generators in it stock. And thanks again all!

@AlphaStrik3 Vanilla builds don't get access to CV solar panels

Man, I was like "how the heck when this is so big?" when I saw 0 power draw in the RE screenshot, but then I realized you have no fuel in the tank...
No solar, right?

@jrandall you're welcome, it's a workhorse. lasts in fights great though i'll prob update to having some laser turrets in there for getting through shields faster lol

Thank you im cumin and skshroyer. @skshroyer, If you go to the ammo controller in the ship, look at it and hit P, you will see the name listed with the color code on it. It uses hexidecimal RGB color code. Thanks again!

How did you change the text color in the logistics menu for the ammo box? I've been trying to figure out how to do so, especially for the Plutos-M2 with no luck. As always, thanks for at least half of my fleet :D

I've been using your Janus ASV for my last few playthoughs and with the new season of HWS RE 1.5. It's a great mining and exploration ship. This might be the next step up for me. :)
