yes, i did eventually come across some situation where buffs per turns would make the game too easy so perhaps its actually best if there isnt a mod who does that :p, marks were very needed tho!

@libero2711 Another late reply, sorry, but no, unless someone else has made such a mod. I'm not an active modder at the moment, but I remember thinking about doing buffs and debuffs. It would need some balance changes though since it would make the game really easy.

hi, love this mod, is there a version of this but for debuffs? i find it very annoying when i debuff, for example, the shrieker's dodge, but then he instantly removes the debuff by playing 3 times :(

@76561198931656022 Sorry for the late reply, did not see the comment until now. First off, you'll probably want to create a new mod yourself in order to make changes to the game without needing to modify the game's original files, a basics guide is found here .
I'm not sure if I understand what you're asking, but I don't think I know how an effect would need to be written in order to make it last for 9 specific moves (as in certain skills). The duration type for effects is by default set to after every turn (not round), meaning you would only have to add .duration 9 to the line of an effect if that's what you want, but this guide lists what parameters are possible for effects and buffs.
Aside from that, you'd be better off asking in either the official or the Moonlit Dungeon Discord server as I am not very experienced at modding.

hello please tell me exactly how to change the file in D:\steam\steamapps\common\DarkestDungeon\effects\ base.effects ?
A search for *.buff_duration_type* yielded 52 results. Tell me in detail, please, how to measure this file point by point? Is it possible to change not to rounds, but to 9 moves?

Disregard the last statement I made if you saw it, this mod works properly. I made a mistake in assuming Occultist used his own marking effect. This will be fixed. Whoops!

This will not change the mark duration of class mods unless they use the same mark effect in the classmod.info.darkest file as any of the default heroes.

Definitely an odd oversight from the devs. An expanded version, perhaps buffs/debuffs aswell might come later unless someone else is up for it. Happy bounty hunting!

This game can be so frustrating with base mechanics at times. A monster has 3 actions a turn? Don't bother bringing a mark team. It will fall off in 2 turns at best. Thanks for the mod.

finally! I wont have to resort to mod trinkets/mod attacks that apply mark as well!
