from origin event tier 4
This is the one that I use and gives you 5 points, plenty enough for more empire customization
You can check the code used in my mods folder, in the \events\id_events.txt and in the common\on_actions\on_actions.txt
i want make a empire with systems 7 or 12 hyperlanes away from your homeworld colonized.
I'll be very busy in the next few months, so I'll just be releasing updates. However, if it's something that can be done and it's not very time consuming I'll do it.
I really wish I could find an alternative for the Civics of this dead mod.
Someone published a rewritten version consisting of just the Advanced Start portion (no Civics in this mod I'm linking):

Workaround for the Children of the Cosmos spam if any of the advice below isn't working/you only noticed this mid game like me and want to take it off the table without having to start a new save.
Go to the .txt file which contains the Children of the Cosmos trait info: "C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\workshop\content\281990\2559730608\common\traits"
Set the multiplier values to zero (or remove the lines entirely). This will effectively remove them from having an effect (note, this doesn't multiply base income etc. by zero, just removes the impact of the modifiers).
Set immortal leaders to "no"
You're now left with empires which have a free trait which has no impact on their empire, so no real harm done to them bar losing a species modification point.
If you want the AI to stop acquiring the Children of the Cosmos trait, try adding the following code
ai_weight = {
weight = 0
}
Now the AI should not acquire this trait XD
So i'd reccommend also setting all the traits values to zero or no respectivley, just in case.
Other than that tho great mod.
