Reporting in that it works in 1.6 as expected - though I have not tried to move a gravcore.

pleeeease add the ability to minify and move chemfuel tanks for the gravship when you get to it.

i think minifying the gravcore might cause a resonance cascade but i don't know...

@nova Yeah, most likely it'll work with 1.6 as long as none of the existing def names changed and such. But... I still need to go through and figure out what new stuff the new update adds that I think can or can't be minified. @ StatistNo1 I looked over your PRs, and I think it looks good so I'll most likely try and test it out when I have some free time. In general... I don't like adding modded items to this as I feel that mod authors should be able to control what should or should not be minifiable and it kind of opens pandora's box because there are many many mods out there that could benefit from minification tweaks... but it's vanilla expanded so I have a little more space in my heart for that I guess

Hi PathogenXD,

I made patches for Vanilla Furniture Expanded - Power, Vanilla Helixien Gas Expanded, Vanilla Nutrient Paste Expanded and Slim Recharger and put in PRs for them on the Github.
You can check those out if you feel like it.

for non-existing buildings from mods use MinifyEverything
with Smart Minify to customize the weight and add the item to the inventory categories. It also allows you to remove and add buildings, as in MinifyEverything , by default walls, doors and two dozen other things are not minifiable.

Why would I not want the invaders to steal my walls? Not long ago they stole my work benches, damn it! I didn't even know that it was possible.

So glad for this. I remember using the other minify mod and would just watch a raider run up to my vault and steal the entire door, giving the other raiders a way into my base. Was real funny, but not quite what I had intended

Hey, I'm the creator of Uninstall Rimworld. I hadn't played Rimworld for a while, but got back into it with Anomaly. Did a vanilla run for a while but now I'm looking to do a new modded run, and found this mod. Well, I'm glad someone was able to take my old idea from the 1.0 days and continue it when I was off doing other things with my life. Keep up the good work!

Howdy, this probably seems like an odd question, but does this work with Minify Everything?
I really like the utility of being able to actually store minified buildings in stockpiles with this mod, but really like being able to just minify everything with the other mod.

Hi there :) When i Pick up Machanoid Loading station. It Drops the wastepacks. but it also keeps them in the building duplicating them. Not good since im Raiding with them

I'll see if I can work on this a bit in the coming days. For now, try enabling as is. The mod is XML only, so it may work for all the existing buildings from 1.3, just 1.4 buildings may not be minifiable

This mod does not seem to check if something is already minifyable before adding the tag, in the case of doors.

I would love if this mod made power conduits minifiable, purely so I can reinstall them when at bandit camps and the like. Solar panels and batteries tend to get destroyed in the fighting, and with my mods, copper is pretty hard to come by to build new conduits and deconstructing them doesn't yield any.

I think there is a "bug" when you move a wind turbine. It registers buildings that we're built in it's place as blocking it. I'm certain there wasn't anything blocking it, built a new one to test, and it wasn't blocked. Anyways, thanks for a great mod! :steamthumbsup:

This has a minor incompatibility with Fertile Fields, mostly because your patches to the vanilla sandbags add the same xml nodes as FF does, however FF checks if the nodes are there before adding them so this can be solved by just putting this before FF.

It's good practice to test for an XML node before adding it, though, for future reference. Check Fertile Fields' "PatchesVanillaMisc.xml" to see how to do this.

@Thundercraft The mod description lists "this mod allows most constructed buildings to be minified and a small selection of structures". While this mod is inspired by Uninstall Rimworld, it is by no means a one to one recreation

I'm not sure, but I think you need Minify More after Minify Everything, for that. I could be wrong, but from what I've seen, the lower something is on the list, the more the game respects its choices over what came before. It's counterintuitive, but.

i've been using minify everything for quite a while and i have never had raiders steal anything maybe that's just me but i've never had that problem

Doing a patch on a bunch of the defs in the way Minify Everything does is more than I'm willing to support right now unfortunately... I leave it to the makers of mods to make sensible choices about what they're willing to minify. This mod is XML only for now, but you could combine minify everything with some other mods to get a behavior you like (there are some which apply a sort of mass assignment of weight to things minified by minify everything).

I don't like using Minify Everything as it includes walls (had a bad experience with raiders stealing them) so does this minify walls?

Ah indeed, this weight of 1 is silly and I did not knew you were smarter on that :-)

I would gladly use your mod and not minify if I could start with your default list of items and then add extra ones, thus allowing me to minify say the old 1900 era Fridge from Jecrell Industrial mod (the one adding old radio, fridges, etc.)

Perhaps you can take a look at the generic approach of minify everything and expand on your mod? Indeed Minify everything is too generic, but your is too constrained right now ;-)

@BladeofSharpness Yeah, MinifyEverything minifies too many things for me. It also gives everything a weight of like 1, which is super light. This mod is more thoughtful about the weights and limiting what can be minified to a more reasonable set

does this make ancient debris minifiable? cause it would be nice to claim and move some of the ancient beds and lamps for like a temporary starting base on fresh games and the set up camp mod
