@Rtma Eros Paragon idk, I haven't used FU in years
Rtma Eros Paragon 20 apr. la 6:15
So this is basically the equivalent to FU Jungle with city remnants?
Kinsect 15 mart. la 8:08
Say does this work with more planet info?
Atlas 66 24 aug. 2024 la 12:16
This is very cool, good idea :SBmm:
Kinsect 14 iul. 2024 la 9:02
Shoot this one isn't compatible with TrueSpace
Jesus of Nazareth 10 mai 2024 la 0:13
A beautiful mod. I'll give it a try in the run I'll have soon. :stars:
bidiguilo 21 nov. 2023 la 7:57
This appears in the surface analysis of a overgrown planet with more planet info: "tidal_overgowntree. dungeonid not in mod's database (MPI)". the warning icon that appears in the sixth screenshot is probably the same thing
Tidalbelt  [autor] 17 nov. 2023 la 13:59
@bidiguilo
it should be built in
bidiguilo 17 nov. 2023 la 12:51
is there a patch for more planet info?
Tefnut 16 apr. 2023 la 20:20
Oh, I misread some comments on second look
Tidalbelt  [autor] 16 apr. 2023 la 14:26
@PH_SapphireMK2

Yes I did, I added it in with the intent of people using a mod that allows the parallax to change when shifting biomes (since for some god forsaken reason that function is literally se to false in the terrestrial config).
Tidalbelt  [autor] 16 apr. 2023 la 14:24
@Tefnut

what big bug
Tefnut 16 apr. 2023 la 11:00
A neat mod, despite the one big bug, def gonna use because i like the look
[1337] ᴀxᴏꜱ > ᴛɪᴇʀ 8 28 mart. 2023 la 19:49
Its looks weird if you put an Ocean/Toxic in Overgrown Planet beside the Parallax Background was really Overgrown and u put an Ocean/Toxic to the biome it looks the whole forest got Flooded all over the planet during the gameplay 🤣🤣
[1337] ᴀxᴏꜱ > ᴛɪᴇʀ 8 28 mart. 2023 la 19:47
Did you really add the Ocean/Toxic biome in this mod? Or maybe there could any patch or fix to remove it?
Blake81 24 oct. 2022 la 10:05
I gotta ask, do they ALL come with a poison ocean biome? Is there none who come with a normal ocean or maybe swamp water instead?
test 9 sept. 2022 la 7:08
HI!!! IS THIS COMPATIBLE WITH FRACKING UNIVERSE MOD???
Evrir 24 aug. 2022 la 12:35
I know this has been asked quite a few times but as someone whose new to modding and wants to at least have a set of mods that'll remain no matter what big mod I try next has anyone confirmed compatability with Fracken's? I'm well aware of the drama that's going on with it but I still wish to at lleast try the mod out regardless. I checked all the prior comments and found no answers so I thought it wouldn't hurt to ask. Thanks for the amazing word and even if not it's going in once I get what I can out of Fu! Kudos!
cutieryan 15 aug. 2022 la 15:44
I have tried out your Overgrown & Hypothermic planet mods & I like them for the most part as they're variants of the Scorched planets. However, there's one thing that bothers me, both planet mods have the same 3 dungeons on every planet I visit.

Overgrown planets always have:
The Floran valley, the Human camp, and the tree dungeon in the 3rd image, which bothers me more that it has tile protection for some reason.

Hypothermic planets always have:
The floran valley, the human camp, and the Apex rebel base.

It's strange that these planets lack dungeon variety in comparison to vanilla planets, could you at least add in the abandoned Apex Lab, the Glitch dungeon, the sewer dungeon, and the USCM prison please? It may help with variety while still being thematically fitting for both planet mods.
Borealis 14 aug. 2022 la 22:10
Never mind, the person I was playing with forgot to install the mods...
Borealis 14 aug. 2022 la 21:23
How rare are the planets? I cannot find a single one in a temperate star...
Grand Poo-Bah de Canadiannaise 1 aug. 2022 la 2:34
@Tidalbelt
Fair enough.
I'm curious cuz I'm thinking of getting into modding, and would be curious how such solutions would work if you knew them or had an idea how they might.
Though this might seem obvious, I've never seen such a thing occur on ocean, arctic worlds, etc. What might the deal be there, and maybe it could be applied here without much mucking around?
Thanks for replies, and for the mod. I love the mod regardless of the bug. :D
Tidalbelt  [autor] 1 aug. 2022 la 0:59
@Gluugsnergluug both
while perhaps I could figure out a way to solve it, it would probably involve heavily messing with how planets and biomes generate (which would effect other planets not just overgrown), which A. I have no real clue how to do to that extent, and B. might not even work for all I know
Grand Poo-Bah de Canadiannaise 31 iul. 2022 la 20:32
@Tidalbelt
Just to clarify, no means, or no you don't want to?
Tidalbelt  [autor] 31 iul. 2022 la 20:07
@Gluugsnergluug nope
Grand Poo-Bah de Canadiannaise 31 iul. 2022 la 18:18
I figured that :)
Is there any means to fix it? Thought I'd bring it to your attention in case there is etc.
Also many thanks for making this mod. I'm having a load of fun exploring the surface of such a world. I also quite like the musical choices!
Tidalbelt  [autor] 31 iul. 2022 la 17:26
@Gluugsnergluug that's just the toxic biome's edge generating near a part of the terrain that was lower than it.
Grand Poo-Bah de Canadiannaise 31 iul. 2022 la 1:11
Found an odd bug.
The toxic water was in a perpetual angled fall towards the lower forest terrain. You can see odd semi-filled toxic water "blocks" under the dirt I placed on which my character is standing. To be clear I placed that dirt there to try to fill the space to make it look natural.

I'll send a better more self explanatory screen shot when I'm back to that area of the planet.
Grand Poo-Bah de Canadiannaise 29 iul. 2022 la 5:01
I love this mod. Can I request a patch that works with Darker Nights? I love the difficulty of fighting mobs with a flashlight :)
space bees 19 iul. 2022 la 21:49
Fair enough! I like the flavor this and the hypothermic planets add to the game anyway.
Tidalbelt  [autor] 19 iul. 2022 la 20:34
@space bees
Yeah that is a minor limitation with them, aside from that, they seem to work fine as secondary biomes in my testing
space bees 18 iul. 2022 la 20:05
I'm not sure Ocean and Toxic biomes were really meant to be used as sub-biomes- I just landed on an overgrown planet where the toxic ocean surface spawned above the neighboring biome and was pouring down onto it at the transition point :cozycastondeath:
Tactical Shrubbery 17 iul. 2022 la 7:26
Is there any patch for this and more planet info? Some of its dungeons are missing icons
W+M1 Pyro 18 mart. 2022 la 10:11
looks great, hopefully its compatible with fu
「𝓕𝓪𝓵𝓵𝓮𝓷」 28 ian. 2022 la 22:15
It's very nice,both it's music and surroundings:tobdog:
TheEndangeredCarmine 27 nov. 2021 la 4:32
This gives me a ton of Chernobyl vibes.
Mocha Latte 18 nov. 2021 la 18:40
@Tidalbelt

Fair, I mean I've been loving and playing this game back since the first public release, and I remember when the Kirhos race was FIRST ever released. I was surprised to see it come back to life in FU. But even if theres drama and bad stuff, I can't deny its a fun and good experience. ANd brings back all of my old favorite races from the dead.
Tidalbelt  [autor] 18 nov. 2021 la 17:16
@FluffyAlchemist

Unless that mod stealing jackass somehow fucked over mods that just add basic planets, it should be.
Mocha Latte 18 nov. 2021 la 11:32
This is gorgeous! I'd love to know if its compatible with FU before potentially breaking some characters XP. Sorrry if it's been brought up before.
长工丂丂与廾囗丁 2 nov. 2021 la 6:21
wonderful mod!
Sinnroy 15 sept. 2021 la 17:24
will there be a terraformer
Xyllisa Meem Paradox Station 12 sept. 2021 la 13:00
keep up the good work, i love these little planet mods!
Star-X 5 sept. 2021 la 10:50
Just to clarify, Hypothermic planets do spawn with Truespace, but I haven't seen the Starry-skied planet or Overgrown planets show up, so I'm assuming those ones need Truespace support baked in.
Star-X 5 sept. 2021 la 10:42
So several of your previous mods had Truespace support, but this one doesn't. Any chance of making it support Truespace? Also, could you add Truespace support to the other planet mods in your workshop that currently lack it?
pilotredlake 5 sept. 2021 la 1:52
works with FU?
Aethis 4 sept. 2021 la 6:05
this thing looked like it was gonna be irradiated but nvm its just visitable
Турбо Игорь 2 sept. 2021 la 4:44
Nooooo! There is no terraformer :steamsad:
Magik Woman 1 sept. 2021 la 19:29
plants
SketchSuke 1 sept. 2021 la 18:27
Found the problem, turns out an update for the Splatoon squids in space mod broke all planets with an ocean Biome on it.
Vulpes Paradox 1 sept. 2021 la 18:15
This is my new favorite planet type, it genuinely looks beautiful and the decayed buildings give it a special charm.
