it should be built in
Yes I did, I added it in with the intent of people using a mod that allows the parallax to change when shifting biomes (since for some god forsaken reason that function is literally se to false in the terrestrial config).
what big bug
Overgrown planets always have:
The Floran valley, the Human camp, and the tree dungeon in the 3rd image, which bothers me more that it has tile protection for some reason.
Hypothermic planets always have:
The floran valley, the human camp, and the Apex rebel base.
It's strange that these planets lack dungeon variety in comparison to vanilla planets, could you at least add in the abandoned Apex Lab, the Glitch dungeon, the sewer dungeon, and the USCM prison please? It may help with variety while still being thematically fitting for both planet mods.
Fair enough.
I'm curious cuz I'm thinking of getting into modding, and would be curious how such solutions would work if you knew them or had an idea how they might.
Though this might seem obvious, I've never seen such a thing occur on ocean, arctic worlds, etc. What might the deal be there, and maybe it could be applied here without much mucking around?
Thanks for replies, and for the mod. I love the mod regardless of the bug. :D
while perhaps I could figure out a way to solve it, it would probably involve heavily messing with how planets and biomes generate (which would effect other planets not just overgrown), which A. I have no real clue how to do to that extent, and B. might not even work for all I know
Just to clarify, no means, or no you don't want to?
Is there any means to fix it? Thought I'd bring it to your attention in case there is etc.
Also many thanks for making this mod. I'm having a load of fun exploring the surface of such a world. I also quite like the musical choices!
The toxic water was in a perpetual angled fall towards the lower forest terrain. You can see odd semi-filled toxic water "blocks" under the dirt I placed on which my character is standing. To be clear I placed that dirt there to try to fill the space to make it look natural.

I'll send a better more self explanatory screen shot when I'm back to that area of the planet.
Yeah that is a minor limitation with them, aside from that, they seem to work fine as secondary biomes in my testing
Fair, I mean I've been loving and playing this game back since the first public release, and I remember when the Kirhos race was FIRST ever released. I was surprised to see it come back to life in FU. But even if theres drama and bad stuff, I can't deny its a fun and good experience. ANd brings back all of my old favorite races from the dead.
Unless that mod stealing jackass somehow fucked over mods that just add basic planets, it should be.
