Turrets not working as of latest SE update. A shame as this is one of my staple mods for years. truly awesome.

Hey.
Huge fan of this mod, and I am hoping to see the Arsenal expand in the future.
Would love to see more small grid weapons, especially from the YT and VCX series ships

yes this mod works great, but why cant I place some of these guns within like 6 blocks of each other? makes it really hard to outfit a ship when you have to put them on another continent.

Mod works great and sounds good but they are way too powerful. The class 1 weapons are able to penetrate almost 4 blocks worth of heavy armor and have very fast fire rates. Testing them on shields, almost all the weapons were doing a consistent 314,000 damage per second which for ship combat would knock out most ships very quickly.

I dont like the models and sometime this mdoe dosent work need rework for this mode better models some like from Razotron models but the mod from Razotron are borken and dosent work with Weaponcore

anyone know what this mod comes up as in the mod list, as for the life of me i cannot find it, I've refreshed list, closed right out and relaunched, checked the mod is in my subscribed mods which it is, but nothing remotely similar to mod description in mod list

pretty sure these are NOT Scaled to 1:1 size. They are relatively there. a good size for the scaled down builds in SE that would actually be possible. The 8-barreled Barbette turret would need to be something along the lines of 11x11 to be closer to proper size.

@Spiddy The reason there are so few guns, especially turbolasers, on the hulls of Star Wars ships is because of how much power they require, leading to a lot of firepower in relatively small turrets.

We like this mod on our server, but the damage output of these turrets is far beyond the other weapon mods we use and the imbalance is a bit too much.
Is there anyway you could make an alternate version with damage levels more inline with Aryx Weapon Enterprises?

No. Truthfully Kreeg did most of the OG coding and I learned how to do WC by going over his work. On top of that I dont have the time or feel the need to make a Non WC version.

Hi, have you considered making a non-WeaponCore version of this mod? There are a fair number of players who do not like WC and it would open up the mod to a wider audience.

Is it possible to manually take control of a turret with WeaponCore? If not, could we get a version of this without WC? Basically, I just want turrets to auto-target enemy ships and be able to be manually controlled like the good old days. I want my friends and I to all run to gunnery stations and hop on the cannons during a fight if we think we can shoot better than the turret AI. Don't get me wrong, I understand the appeal of WC, but for a few friends playing on a mostly PvE server, it's an awful lot of depth we don't need.

i have two deeath star turbo lasers on my base when i had one they worked fine now they only fire if shoot on is enabled and wont target anything

Refers to an audio subtype that isnt created by Audio_Starbuck

Hello your mod is acting weird and it breaking itself. Like every time i put one down it fine then we try to shoot it at something it breaks and after it all turrets break as well. I don't know what changed but it broke now.

Are all the Turbo Lasers rapid fire or is there a way to change up the fire rate/ Fire state?
Would prefer the quad lasers to fire all 4 barrels in unison.

None of these require ammo, there are no ports by design.
The control function is no longer available by design, has to do with weaponcore code.
Sounds like you may be having issues using weapaoncore,

that usually happens when there is a mod conflict, like if you have another mod installed that uses the same file names. Try moving the mod higher up on the mod list but below weaponcore.

no the turrets dont exist thats the issue in the g menu the turrets dont show up it worked before warfare 2 but i didnt use it until a few days ago

@Hairy do you have weapon core? I tested this mod days ago and the only issue I had is the sounds. Which is beyond my powers to fix

I have weaponcore on my world as well as this, did a quick test on a ship I'm building by turning shoot on/off on and nothing is happening. Am I missing something?

@SuperGripper: I think i know that problem, I found a way to handle. In many multi ammo weapons, it needs to fire the last loaded shots before it is actually switched. I guess it is something similar here but the "magazines" are really large.
What I did was: I put the Cycle Ammo button and the Force Reload (iirc that was the name) button next to each other in the tool bar, and I use 1. cycle and then 2. force reload. The weapon(s) recharge completely then which takes a while like after building. Mind that this can only be done by toolbar (did not try timer block).

I had a quick look because I want something like this for my server. I really like the looks and sounds but I have a few concerns, maybe you can give me some more info, please:
They have ranges which seem to be almost 2x of what usually is normal and don't need ammo, on the other hand they seem to be expensive in materials and draw a lot of energy. Still, i wonder about the balancing of these weapons because they are cheap to maintain and use. Besides, I see that you apparently have many other weapon mods in your server's mod collection that are common weapon mods, so I really would like to know how the Turbolasers compare to those and how well the balance works, can you please elabore that a little? The long range, on paper, worries me a bit to be honest.
How strong are they against hull/shields, and does the damage fall off over distance, as in the Star Wars Lore?
Thank you very much for some infos and impressions, so I can estimate what awaits me with this mod. :)

This is amazing and exactly what I was looking for! But I will say, if it included a compact 1x1x1 turret for use with the popular Star Destroyer builds on the workshop, this would be one of the top mods of all time for me.
