I'm unsure as to whether I'll update this mod to v1.5 or not. Truth be told, I've always been a little unhappy with the quality, and making a whole "module" system ended up being a bit much for me. MAYBE I'll attempt a remaster at some point, but I've been a bit burnt out on... a lot of things, as of late.

If you're reading this, and are one of those people who like to make mod ports to later versions, go ahead! Though, maybe also notify me if you do so, so I can provide a link.

This looks great, I'm always looking for magical weapons that don't require Royalty! I don't suppose there is a mod menu for turning certain weapons off if they don't fit your theme?

i got skyslasher its quility is good when i attack any creature it misses all the time and it cant attack sleeping animals is this intended or something causing it?

Anyway to set a "category" for these weapons as "Oddity" (like VE does for crypto weapons, or exists for persona weapons) ?

Unsure if this is functionally possible, but it would be a neat interaction if the Proboscis could restore hemogen to hemogenic pawns.

Is there a way I can edit the file to change the tech level of these weapons? I'm using a mod that limits pawns to only using weapons they have the same tech level of, and since all these weapons are "ultra tech" my poor guy will die of old age before being able to use the weapon, and since said weapon is a sword my head cannon is the guy could figure out how to swing it even if he didn't understand how it was made.

So can I use Notepad ++ to open up the mod file and just change the tech level?

Any chance to make the "Devil's Bargain" message not appear, or making it a toggleable option? Having a character that automatically removes the Luciferium need makes it so that the message appears every hit.

Also - referring to your last comment - a grenade launcher that fires cluster grenades? First grenade explodes on 5x5, releases 3-5 grenades that explodes over 3x3.

I've been thinking I'll add more weapons sooner or later. Might be fun to add a chaingun or grenade-type weapon soon, who knows?

This is still such a good mod, but i feel like most of the weapons are either melee or sniper. Are there going to be heavier weapons in the future?

Very cool weapon, love being able to set my ideology's weapon to something unique like the Kronos. Been having fun with the mod.

@Hungus: Sure. When I eventually find the motivation to work again, I'll see about adding something like that. (The tab for oddities. Not the bottle of scrumpy.) The Tesla and Eschatos aren't references to anything in particular either, weirdly enough.
@Dinh: The explosion does have damage falloff I believe, but it does not scale with weapon quality.
@Pearific: I think that's something you'll need to request from the owner of Persona Workbench. Maybe? I could look into it later.

if it is at all possible, please make a separate tab for oddities in the smelter. I've lost my cool af political assassin knives and neat electric crossbow to accidently smelting them twice because downed pawns.

Im aware this is just me being careless, but it would be a nice quality of life IF it isnt hard to implement.

Also if id love to know what the Tesla and eschatos are references to, i think Eschatos is some league of legends reference, but not sure

Does leyline's explosion damage scale? Also that weapon is very powerful on high level psycasters. Invis > Berserk pulse until almost fill the heat > skip out > attack until heat drops then repeat

Also, an idea for a weapon; similar to the Skyslasher, a melee weapon that adds a melee damage multiplier(or melee cooldown speed) on kill that goes down over time. The first raider attacked stands a change, but the last one get's their head cut of in an instant.

Any chance we could get a patch for "Persona Workbench"? Or is that something to request from the creator of that mod?

Would probably be stupidly OP, but would be quite fitting for some of the weapons, for example; The Devils Bargain infused with "Kill thirst", and the Leyline with "Kill Focus". Or stupidly OP with the "Fast mover" on Skyslasher.

This is a great idea as currently I just use custom idealogy weapons as my start of "quest" item. I can't play without CE so will wait but just wanted to say great idea!

The Epiphany isn't really a weapon that's meant to appear in most runs- it's more of an easter egg than anything. It has a really, really low chance to appear from a weapon strongbox.

can't wait to have another weapon added from this mod. I love the mods. My only issue just momentum take too long to shot (specially if you use mod like combat update which increase accuracy and combat speed).

Updated the weapon previews on the page. The text for the Kronos and Wolbach are currently reflecting their post-patch state, which'll come out... in due time. soon

@Scorpio: They technically can be built, Oddities. If you mean "make oddity fragments craftable", that's not in the cards at all. Oddities are meant to be the random seasoning to your run, and making the fragments craftable would remove some of the "fun" of obtaining them. At least, in my opinion.

@The Guy: Oh yeah. I'm honestly not sure how to fix that, or if there's a way to provide this effect without shattering the game in half.

Been a bit silent on this front, sorry! I've been occupied with a variety of things, including classes starting up again. But ahem...

@magic_boi, 17: CE will happen some time in the future! Probably some time after the release of my next module?

@Dennis: I'll see how possible that is. It's certainly something I want to look into, at the very least.

Once the artist I've commissioned finishes a few pieces of art for the next module, I'll be releasing a small update for this module, and then the entire new module! I hope the new module will be fun for everyone!

Devil's Bargain's sunder effect is more or less useless against humans. It decreases their armor, but doesn't decrease their equipments armor... And they don't have base armor.

Really interesting mod! Could you add an option to disable the oddities fragments so the weapons can only be found?
