When you say:

Are you saying make this mod load before SFO or after it? By default your load order is below it due to the pack name.

One thing I will say that has been bugging me so far is how everyone including your grandma will be raiding your lands. Hostile factions I understand, but even friendly/neutral nations? In sfo growth slows to a crawl.

Shame I can't pay you half a year's worth wage in a just a paypal donation as I'm broke as hell, you somehow made a wonder out of this and I wish I could have experienced such an ai in all other strategy games I previously played in all my years, thanks to this I can finally put to use all my tactics reevaluate and learn from my defeats knowing I can be better, thank you truly.

I really love the challenge this mod brings to the table, but sometimes the AI garrison will run away and not defending even its their last settlement. Instead their army will run loose and randomly burn down your minor settlement. This can be very antifun and anticlimaxtic, especially when I played as norsca, when I eliminated Laureon Forest, the last group of wood elves just run rampant and go to my northern waste and deep rooting around burning down my unwalled settlements. There is no way I can catch up to them, and it doesn't make sense lore wise that some group of wood elves run loose at the northern waste. Very frustrating and antifun, I just hope that they could stand and fight and give me some climax epic battles rather than some unloreful goose chase

is it possible to apply 2 types of AI to the factions? For Lothern or Karl Franz, the current AI is perfect, do the aggressiveness all they want. But for smaller factions, such as minor dwarf holds or woodelves, I think they should just stock 2 or 3 stacks and defend their one territory. In this way, conquering them will still post a challenge, because they have those stacks. However we won't ever see Fester Spikes taking over the world.

I agree with you, unfortunately we can't correspond to everyone.
On paper keeping the charm of the story is important, but afterwards in terms of gameplay and game design it changes everything :/

nice mod that indeed makes the game more difficult. However I would still love the AI behavior to respect their loreful characteristics, such as minor faction does not seek to conquer the world. Sometimes it is crazy to see the Laureon Forest taking over half of the empire. Or me as Norsca and having Averland pursuring me all the way into the chaos waste.

Even if making the AI less difficult is required for establishing a unique quality among factions. Maybe it would be more of a sub mod kind of thing, to not spoil the original experience.

Sweet mod, AI is aggressive and punishing and pulls no punches and doesn't need the artificial difficulty of cheat combat bonuses, just the sort of mod I was looking for. Not sure if such a thing is possible, but would be cool if the unique diplomatic traits played a bigger part in AI decision making IE. "verminous valor" skavens fleeing from armies matching in strength, beastmen that relentlessly pursue small settlements without respite, and flee from walled cities and big armies, ETC.

My own take is that I really dont like how SFO trying to balance the game heavily based on the TT rules. One elite unit or hero can decimate the whole army just to satisfy the feeling "legendary".

The mod is very interesting, but there is one drawback. If you play with a chaos mod (many armies of chaos), then Chaos tries to go to the Player and ignores other AI factions.
For example: Archaon completely ignores the Vampires, moves further south to the player.

I always have a preference to play legendary and put in mods that remove battle bonuses for AI etc.
With SFO, legendary is great but they have increased the declaration of wars against humans (diplomatic malus), so if it's too complicated, play on very difficult

@Hecleas Very excited to try out your mod. At which settings does it work best/hardest? I play ME campaigns on Legendary/Hard/Very Hard (playing on a battle difficulty higher than "hard" just feels like getting cheated big time and, more or less, forces you to chease...no fun) Hope your mod works out as promised ;)

You're wrong on so many levels.

First of all I was talking about my experience that I actually had in SFO, not in your mod. The AI cheats like crazy and there is no equal footing at all. Like I said, they spamm army stacks and have unlimmited money - even on normal. They also snipe you.

Thats why basically I wonder what the point is in making the AI smart if they already dont have to care about losses.

There is no strategy either if your opponent can instantly replenish any losses and spamm cause what does it matter if you win? They'll just build up another stack, I wish it would be that the best strategical player would win and that winning would actually feel rewarding but right now its incredible meaningless

I don't know from what you said to yourself that I added or removed bonuses from the AI.
But no, I didn't touch any of that.
No bonuses have been added or removed.
I simply touched on the intelligence of the AI, its analysis, its decisions, its priorities, its strategy etc.

When you are used to a stupid AI yes it can be shocking, especially if the creators of the game have found the only solution to accentuate the difficulty of adding additional cheat bonuses to them.

I personally prefer to play with a mod like SFO which adapts the handicaps to the same level as the player, adding with my mod, everyone plays on an equal footing and the most strategic player will win.

So you nerfed the AI then? Cause them having unlimmited money and field 2-3x your army + agent spamm while owning only 3 settlements is absolutely not logical

By default your mod isn't needed as it wont matter if the AI suicides cause no need to play tactical if you can instantly replenish your losses and spamm out stacks as well as max out every settlement. Has all this been nerfed?

Best AI mod I've used, major factions of each race seen taking huge amounts of land, diplomacy strategic for their own goals, amazing composed armies. I'm running with over 185 mods so the fact it works so well is amazing. Thank you for this :WH3_bear:

I really want to try them all) I play on hard/normal (because AI get some "cheats" on higher difficulties) so, increasing AI's aggressivness and behavior seems better to increase difficulty

No, I haven't developed this part, because there are already other mods that take care of that, it seems to me.
Then I can make other small mods that affect the behavior of the AI.

In the meantime, this one takes care of intelligence, behavior and aggressiveness for armies on the campaign etc., I did it at retail ready and numerous tests, all the tables correspond to this objective, have been modified.
