What's happening might be that an error is being thrown when they hit an enemy, which causes the game to delete the projectile

with the "Unofficial Calamity Bard & Healer" mod (and iirc the mod of redemption bard and healer content mod), for some reason all bard and healer weapons have no pierce? even the ones from base thorium. removing this mod fixes it, to be clear. when i say they have no pierce, they can only hit one enemy max, this means scythes will straight up disappear after hitting one enemy, same with the AoE effect of the drum weapons. very odd, not sure why a mod that just changes damage number colors would break stuff in this way

@FIKS I dunno but you can always save your current mods and everything as a modpack, then just disable everything except for this one and test it out with a new world to see if it works! Then you don't gotta worry about having to re enable everything!

Does this work with Calamity Rogue class?
Read some older comments and restored defaults for every config page, which fixed my issue. For the mod compat page it populated it with the hybrid class I mentioned after doing that. Makes sense.
Prismatic Breaker's beam in Calamity disappears instantly upon enemy hit with this mod installed. That weapon is a hybrid ranger/melee damage weapon, so maybe some bug to do with that fact.

For some reason the mod doesn't seem to support Bard or Healer, it doesn't allow me to add either

This has an issue where it can't be used alongside some mods, I have created a pull request with the solution to said issue, if you are still developing this mod it would be appreciated if you would resolve this issue quickly.

This would go great with a mod that made some enemies have dmg type resistances, though a mod like that would make sticking to 1 class a nightmare.

I fixed the problem by disabling the "Enable Melee Velocity Based Damage" option in the overhaul mod. However, I have noticed that this problem applies to melee weapons from Thorium, but it's not certain.

I figured it out, the problem is in the overhaul mod, the developer answered me - "The melee damage color denotes how much your damage got called from your velocity". But still I would like to see the changed color, maybe it could be edited through your mod?

That's...very strange. Might be some weird combo of accessories/some weapon effect causing it. What weapon are you using? Do you have something that maybe increases/decreases damage while in the air?

If you attack with a melee weapon on the ground, the damage is shown in white, if you jump, the damage is shown in orange. Is this how it should be?

Same as what's reported below, any projectile of a custom damage type will die immediately upon hitting an NPC due to this mod, most likely cause the mod cannot figure out what to do for a damage type that doesn't have a mod call.

I may have reported a very similar issue before, but after a lot of trial and error in figuring out which mod caused this issue, for some reason the weapons of the Bombus Apis can never penetrate properly with this mod active unless you go into the Mod Compatibility Config menu and hit Restore Defaults. If you don't do this, you're in for a bad time like I was

I have no idea why this happens, but I figure I should bring this to your attention. I don't get why not using restore defaults breaks weapon penetration for the damage type added by Bombus Apis, specifically Hymenoptra damage.

Are there any plans to allow colouring of vanilla damage text? Sorry if this has been asked before but I didn't find any questions about it. I'm referring to things like slimy saddle bounce, shield of cthulhu ram, DoT ticks from On Fire, dmg from Bone Glove, etc.

Will this mod ever see the option to type in numbers for RGB values? The sliders are so unbearably finicky. It's nearly impossible to get the values I want sometimes.

So glad this got updated. Was always *noice.*

However, I noticed that Calamity's "true melee damage" isn't highlighted (at least when you have the Celestial Pillars option enabled). Do you think you could fix that whenever you have time?

Oh, and throwing damage is still in the config even though that no longer exists (at least without Thorium).
