Hey there Jo!
Since it's unclear to me if you are planning to return or you are retired from modding I'm here to ask if you would be cool with me reposting an updated version of this mod with full credits to you?
I had to change a few minor graphical things that were borked and redo all the ws files (and i would like to add a few custom weapons made by me since you left space for some variants) but the vast majority of your work is pretty much intact.

it wont crash the game, but it doesnt work 100% no. I'm more likely to make another one than update this one. This winter though, I dont have time atm.

I dont expect to be modding until this winter anyway. I'm sure by this time there might be some awesome reskin done by other modders, so we'll see how it turns out! I need to rest and enjoy the game as it is for the time being, I work IRL too much to do everything atm, and modding will have to wait.

T_T the model CA gave is so, so painfully mediocre. With your mod I used to stare at them for half a minute at the start of battle just to j-, I mean admire them.

Mod is OUTDATED since update 2.0, for now it crash the game so dont use it until I have time to update it.

I'm considering making a new mod eventually instead, we'll see.

These look absolutely gorgeous. As much as I love CA's new design, they can't hold a candle to you artistically. I'm curious - what parts of skins/textures/assets are missing from the new game files? Why would CA remove them??

We'll see how broken things get, likely the DLC will break this mod both game wise with the upgrade system and part of the skins i used in this mod seems to not exist anymore and I doubt CA have kept them lingering in the files just to make my life easier tbh :P

But the good news is, we get a lot of new assets and effects to work with, so yes I want to make a faction reskin in the future and maybe a companion mod adding units with weapon variants and maybe a melee lord and hero as well!

Though it might take a while as I dont have much time to mod until winter.

I saw the new tzeentch chosen that's coming with new dlc and I vastly prefer this gorgeous model. Would you consider making reskin for them? Or will this mod function separately from coming chosen units?

@☸𝕵𝖔☸ I see your points, though I'd argue that Ca will most likely never ever address this issue, even though its been a problem since Warhammer 1. Its like they're allergic to tweaking upkeep costs, they can make miniscule, pointless adjustments to stats in MP but god forbid you change upkeep. I still believe lowering it to 350-380 would be a fair price considering they have basically no real support from tech and the red line skills doesn't really help them a whole lot.

That or perhaps give them arcane mirth/elemental mastery? have them actually contribute a bit to what makes Tzeentch good in the first place, the spellcasting.

@BUTTER ETERNAL about the upkeep, thats in line with vanilla upkeep, after all they cost a bit more then regular chosen, and I do agree that slow infantry are overpriced in vanilla, in campaign, but I'm sticking to it until vanilla change it abroad.

New/casual players would even find them OP because they would try to melee them and get grinded down. They dont see they have 28 speed and can be kitted or cycle charged etc instead...

As for the skills, it isnt the greatest, but its for balance reasons so as to not make the buffs good for all tier of units, which is then a no brainer skill. Until CA add new skill set anyway as I dont want to add custom ones for compatibility reasons.

I think that in the campaign their upkeep cost is a bit much compared to what they actually bring to the table. Also it'd probably be better if they got their bonuses from Warped Retainers/Arsenal of insanity, cause they would benefit more from the melee attack/Armor bonus/anti-infantry bonus than a charge increase.

I just double checked, and everything is fine.

So its on your end, either another mod that conflict, like radious maybe? radious use part of my models but not 100% I think.

Knights are part of my reskin mod, not this one. (just in case you used radious again)

Also if you changed your graphic settings like "units details", it may result in only one variant being loaded if its set too low.

Also try the mod alone if you did not already.

Without a doubt, all of my chosen and knights have only a single identical variant of those floating head/ear decors is what breaks my femurs the most.

Now that im already at it, i havent seen the variant with a normal blue chaos warrior helmet with 3 golden horns and the weird but cool book on his head. Both this and those prior mentioned are also lacking from the doom knight, knight of tzeentch reskin mod.

Yo did you remove the Pink horror hoodie variant and the egyptian floating cat ears? Im asking this because i have tried playing with 19 chosen in a custom battle and not a single one had the pink horror head, nor ear like version of the floating head decor.

Small fix: moved the Chosen of Tzeentch (Halberds) in the Daemon Prince glory tree further to not hide the faction bonus icon.

You're right, I just can't get my head around the fact how badly Skarbrand lost to a single Halberd unit and how the Greatswords just barely handled two units of Tsar Guard. Anyway, it's a great mod, thank you for it.
