Ensure that you have automatically add skills to toolbar enabled in the games option menu, otherwise skills that switch wont appear on your toolbar. This should fix the issue.

hey so whenever i cast one of the healing skills i have to manually go back into the spell book to drag the corruption variant everytime i want to use it. It makes combat a hassle when the skills keep disapearing from my hotbar. I use combine atlases mod so i dont know of any way to avoid this issue.

Probably means you have too many atlasses and the game doesnt show the icons anymore, try the combined atlasses mod here on the workshop and the problem should be fixed!

I noticed a bug, but not only in your mod, but also in Astronomer class. In combat skill icon suddenly disappear from the panel. Moreover, the skills themselves remain in place. I have to reset them from memory

And instead of swapping skills make effects (corruption). It's just my suggestion😆

@solvius90, thank you for the compliments! While i like the idea of 2 seperate skill trees, in my opinion this mod benefits more from a swapping system. If you encountered any bugs with the swapping please let me know and ill try to fix them! Your english is fine dont worry

First at all - great work 👍 Icons, animation - 10/10. But i don't like swapping skills. Maybe it should 2 separate skill tree?) Like Astronomer class.
I remember similar work such Elementalist class (but your mods much better designed). In core of swapping is many bugs.
I have a little bit problems with English, but i think you understand me😆

I would if it wasn't for stacking every modded buffs/debuffs. So really it's just more of a "balancing" act.

I think chaos skills doing a bit more damage would go a long way; the setup required to hit 6th corruption is quite hard to hit when your not allowed to use more than 3 chaos skills in a row.

It's been a while since I've used this mod so my knowledge on it may also be outdated... It's just I never gave you that feedback I promised from before.

Fair points, I dont play with difficulty mods as i find tactician difficult enough. That said the chaos skills feel a bit weaker than the order skills. For my own playthroughs equilibrist didnt feel weak or busted but i might consider a round of small damage buffs. Or i might buff the damage of the 6th corruption proc. What do you think?

Like sure this made sense with Tactician because that class is "clearly" meant to be a buffing class as it scales with leadership and offers very few direct offensive options. But Equilibrist is clearly meant to be a main-spell casting type of class, following in Vanilla's "half offensive, half support" style.

That's my take on this, it's still *extremely good*, don't get me wrong, high quaility is fully there, I just think some of the damage (specifically chaos) skills should hit a bit harder. Do remember they are all fire damage which makes them pretty useless against fire resistant enemies (cough oilrig fight cough)

Then again, I'm a mod-mixing "solo class runs" guy who uses 6 party members and meaningful (if not busted) difficulty mods and boss encounters lol. So take all that with a grain of salt.

I guess in that way it's a much more difficult to play class that doesn't really offer any additional reward.

So IMO it's not the Friendly Fire that's the issue (well, mostly not, most mods don't seem to honor the ability to target anyone with damage skills lol), it's just more of that Equilibrist's damage options are just, really weak in comparison to vanilla's damage options (IE Dazing bolt, Ice Shards, so on), and many damage skills have such a huge AOE it's difficult to not cause friendly fire too.

I just feel like a mod with such a high setup should have a higher reward imo. Like if you can get all those stacks on enemies you should be able to pack a stronger punch than Vanilla's options.

I agree that this class is weaker than other classes, but you can make up that difference with skill. I feel like the other classes you mentioned are a bit too strong and dont really require clever tactics to dominate foes.

If you wanted you could make this mod a little stronger by disabling the friendly fire (see the tips section)

Hey so, I know I'm really *really* late to give feedback on this, but I can safely say this is one of the most unique classes out there by far, the whole premise is great!

Though, I do feel like, atleast VS most modded classes (even the really polished ones), Equilibrist does feel a bit on the weaker side, given almost every skill requires good setup to not get any downsides with.

Alot of fun thou, fits right into vanilla games easily.

@Lati, I have added the toggle option to the mod. Typing !Equilibrist_FriendlyFireOff in the chat to cancel the negative effects of most Chaos spells on allies. You may need to type it twice if you hadn't used the chat this session. CAUTION: this setting is extremely strong. It can be disabled by typing !Equilibrist_FriendlyFireOn in the chat.

Please provide me with feedback if you have any and definitely hit me up if you find a bug which may very well be possible. Should this option for example also include that most order spells cant hit enemies? right now that is not the case. Thank you. Hope you enjoy!

@Lati, this would be a lot easier to implement, but this would make the class a little bit too strong IMO, the versatility the class has and the potential to be a great healer and damage dealer is offset by some inconveniences, which the friendly fire is one of. But, if there is more people that would like such an addon, I will make it .

Hey Lati, It is definitely a good suggestion. Ill see if and when I have the time to write an addon for this. In order to do this though I would have to change the chaos skills to warfare based, so that it can be scaled either by finesse with finesse based weapons or strength with strength based weapons. I am not a huge fan about what that does to the thematic pov of the mod, warfare is hardly in balance with hydrosophist (the order skills), plus the custom skill effects I made for chaos skills are mostly purple flames, which fits pyrokinetic obviously but doesn't fir warfare. Ill see if theres a different solution to this problem.

@greenlights6, thank you for the compliment! In the beginning of the game I try to make the most use of the aspect of order/chaos skills while in later stages of the game it really differs per battle and what sides the skills are on, for some fights I took a little time rearranging them prior to the fight.

Here is a few tips:
take elemental affinity and step into a water or fire surface, there's multiple skills that do that for you, most notably the corrupted daggers and aspect of order.
Most combos rely on the same element, so in order to be able to cast combos you have to probably alter a chaos combo with an order combo.
Keep in mind that the last skill of 3 you cast ends your turn and switches to the other side, while the other 2 skills switch after you cast them and then switch back upon disturbing the balance. This allows you to alternate chaos/order combos around 1 skill. I like doctors orders/ spread the sickness or loyalty/betrayal for this purpose.

Ahhh, this class seems interesting just like the Tactician mod. So far, I'm trying to figure exactly the skills work in conjunction especially with cooldowns! Seems difficult when all of the skills start on one side (ex: Order) and you want to change those skills into Chaos.

Okay so we found out that the bug was caused by having a skill memorised but not having it on your hotbar. This caused the loop that swaps your skills to break at some point, not swapping all the skills and not ending your turn either. I have been able to fix it and pushed an update, huge thanks to @Shade!

@Shade, one of the final skills actually grants a status that would overwrite the disturbing of the balance; True in life/cheat death. If you cast then as one of the 3 same side skills you're turn wont end. I'll be looking into it to see if they could he the cause of some bug.
Also thank you for the bulk up bug, that should be a bit easier to chase down.

Hey! Great mod! I've noticed that sometimes the switching skills and skipping turns hasn't been consistent since I hit level 16 and gotten new spells. When I hit 3 stacks of a side, it doesn't convert or skip my turn... was wondering if you knew a fix for this (it has been fine up until now). Also, there is a bug where "bulk up" does not take away integrity V as per the desc.

-scoundrel
-necromancy
-warfare
-polymorph
-huntsman
-summoning

Thank you. Once you get decaying on enemies (the mod offers multiple options) or the enemies are undead you will want the healing spells to also hit enemies ;)

@Fane, DoctorBeetus pointed me towards some resources for swapping a skill on any spot in the hotbar. The new update now actually allows you to make any hotbar configuration and have the skills swap in place!

Is it ok when Summon Corrupt Totem hit enemies with Corruption V, Corruption debuff resets to 1 lvl? Seems like a bug cause Order Totem did not reset Integrity V.

If you meant that the skills rearrange to the leftmost spot on your hotbar after use, then yes, that is intended. Or rather, it is quite impossible to fix. Upon casting a skill, the swapped skill will appear on the leftmost empty spot on your hotbar. If you make some sort of arrangement from left to right, without leaving empty spaces, this won't be disturbed though.

@Fane, good one, Ill put this in the tips. The game actually has an automated hotbar behaviour option to automatically remove unlearned skills from the hotbar and automatically add newly learned skills to the hotbar. This way, the swapping of skills happens automatically on your hotbar (but in reality you unlearned one skill and learned another). Find this setting in the ingame options.

I have to rearrange the skills after every use because it is changing. Is this intended?
