No, this mod would not conflict with mods that only alter aversion. This mod isn't really needed anymore though - what it does is now part of the base game.

Hey, is this uncompatible with some other mods that alter aversion?

Update 3.0: I have confirmed that the mod is not necessary for Tomb Kings to interact with Skarbrand, which should have been impossible if the mod was needed. As such, this mod will no longer be supported unless I hear that it is later needed. Thank you to all who supported this mod and found it helpful and necessary for a time.

I had a mod like that pre-2.0 (I got permission to take the trading part of the Daemonic Diplomacy mod) and make it standalone. Unfortunately, to make it work correctly required scripting, which I don't know how to do. Trial and error scripting is on my to do list to try to update the mod anyway, but I don't have the time in the near future to do that I'm afraid.

could you add in the options for demon factions to be able to trade? i know that they dont get resources but it would still be nice to have for multiplayer campaigns as the other people can benefit greatly from being able to trade with the demons

Update 2.0/IE has apparently NOT made this mod redundant. As Dwarfs, I can't open diplomacy with Skarrbrand when not running this mod. So perhaps it is still needed. It certainly won't hurt your experience if you run it in 2.0.

However, there is a very slight possibility that my mod is being overridden by another mod that has the same string ID as the one line of code I use. I have changed my string ID code and re-uploaded the mod. I suggest doing the Wood Elves test I mentioned above to see if the mod is working or not. If you are not at war with them instantly, it's working. If you are (even after I changed the string ID) there is probably another mod that changes the direct line of code I use and is overriding my mod. If that happens, move my mod in your load order. Try it at the top of your load order and then again at the bottom. One of those placements should fix the issue if nothing else has.

Comment Part 1: I tested it on my end and it's working fine (I started as Demons of Chaos, went down to the Wood Elves faction. With this mod, no war. Without it, instant war). As Demons you do start at war with a number of order factions (which this mod won't affect, because you are hardcoded at war with them). Have you used it as Demons of Chaos before or only as other Chaos factions?

since the mod isn't working properly at my save from before 1.3, I started a new game as undivided and start out with war with all of order faction

For anyone looking for a slightly different mod that keeps Chaos at war with traditional order factions (Empire, Kislev, Dwarfs, etc.) but allows diplomacy with "evil" factions CA has locked Chaos diplomacy with (Vampires, Orcs, etc) I have created a new mod that does that exactly. Sub-mod has been added to increase Order aversion to Chaos from -100 (CA default) to -400 for a more vanilla experience while still allowing Chaos to conduct diplomacy with factions that are not hostile but are forced hostile by Vanilla (like Vampires).
