@The Third Horseman Build planner for speed module components and manufacturing advanced circuits is working for me. It might be worth trying a new game with just Better Resources installed. I'm using the AI Inventory Manager block from the AI Logistics Automation mod.

@DirtyPixel Thank you so much, author. I just saw what you said, in the top, Then I tried manually placing the magnet into the raw material column of the assembly machine, and it can now produce high-power motors normally. Thank you

I'm struggling with this. It's a great concept, but there are a few things that I don't know how to deal with unless they're what you expected to happen.

For some things (I'll use Speed Mod as an example), if I use the Build Planner to extract what is needed to make them, I get the vanilla components (but not the extras your mod wants - Advanced Circuits and 10 GHz CPU).

Also, I absolutely have been unable to convince the assembler to manufacture the Advanced Circuits at all. I've verified that Plastic, Gold Wire, Niobium and Silicon Wafer are all in the assembler, but it won't build them.

Maybe there's a trick to this that I didn't find in the documenation?

We'll start with those two issues and assuming I can get past them, move on to any others that pop up.

Also, can you recommend an Inventory Manager to move things into the Assemblers? I'm having to do that for multiple items manually (not just the Sulfer you mentioned).

@ZERO 诺诺 I've just run a test and everything is working fine. As long as you have the required magnets, carbon and copper in the top section of the assembler you should be able to produce high-torque motors.

Hello author, I don't know why I couldn't produce advanced motors in the assembly machine after loading your MOD, which made it impossible for me to assemble air thrusters. This critical error prevented the game from continuing. I can produce electromagnets and two other parts, but I just can't assemble them into a high-end motor. How can I fix it?

@Fagottini Sorry but I won't be making an oil only version any time soon, if at all.

@KafScin Ignore the errors, the appropriate DDS files have been included in the mod.
Regarding the "Missing items" error have you looked at the "Assembler flaw" note above?

It also refuses to create certain components in the assembler, even though the resources are there. it still just says "Missing items".

I get a lot of "MOD_ERROR" messages when loading in Better resources. They look like this:
MOD_ERROR: Better Resources, in file: C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\workshop\content\244850\2841960221\Data\PlanetGeneratorDefinitions.sbc
Resource not found, setting to null. Resource path: C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\workshop\content\244850\2841960221\Textures/Models/Environment/Sky/EarthFarClouds.dds

Any idea what this is?

For now,
i can rebalance hydrogen engine + ice system with mod
i can add cool wind turbines with mod
i can build nuclear reactor and some additions to them with mods
(i do not searching new space energy generation for space like new solar panels for now)
BUT no OIL.... Something mid between green energy and cheat ice+engine.

Actually no, i've tried 3 and 2 of them is not good enough or have problems. Last one is IO.
AANND now i know what for Deep Core Mining its will be need compatibility patch.
And for Realistic Atmospheres. Ehh so many problems....

@DarkSlayerEX You should get 0.05 of Uranium and 0.005 of Plutonium with Better Resources.

@Fagottini I think there's already a mod that does that.

Can you make version with only oil?

I want to use it with mod Deep Core Mining (3473863376). And want to have some simple experience (not Industrial Overhaul like).

I noticed that my local files for your mod show that uranium ingots are obtained 10x more efficiently than vanilla? It seems to show as 0.1, while vanilla is 0.01.

is this accurate on my end, and if so, why such a drastic increase?

@Renay Edor I'm glad you're enjoying the mod and thanks for the encouragement. Tungsten carbide for grinders and drills (maybe advanced ship versions too) should be easy enough to implement, I'll see what I can do. The Magnesium was left in for mod compatibility, but I agree it would be great to find a proper use for it, I had considered using it to make an alloy for engine blocks/casings, fuel tanks etc. A fully charged boost battery (no recharge but with a very fast discharge) that could be used to get some energy into depleted Lithium batteries would be useful.

I don't know how difficult it'd be, but the 'easy' solution I thought of for it is making them batteries that build with X#mWh of power, a high discharge rate but 0 input, making them un-rechargable, and the components grind to scrap when you disassemble them when they're spent. Unless you can figure out a way to make the block self-damage the components so they're reloadable... but that seems a bit excessive... (maybe a reactor that uses the magnesium-ice cells?)

Sorry for the wall of text... I'm in love with this mod because it's a difficulty spike without a massive overhaul, making it super friendly to other mods. I requested an addon for Redistributed Ores, and modified a version of Gravel Sifter to include some of the ores from this mod, as well as using the components to balance the fact that it prints resources :P

Thanks for all the work you've done with the mod and I look forward to seeing what you do in the future with it :D

Do you think you could add tungsten-carbide? It can be put to use in the tier 3 (2 cheverons) for the grinder disk and drill head? I'd love it tungsten got a bit more love, as it's only really "useful" for getting tin for brass for the artillery shells.

Also, trying to think of a use for magnesium since it's pretty much useless now in the base game (other mods still use it in my playthrough so it's not completely useless... but I have about 5k just sitting around waiting to be used). Maybe you could make "disposable" capacitors out of a magnesium-ice cell fueled block.

Hey there, little heads up. I believe the edited recipe for the atmospheric thrusters is broken. The thruster becomes functional after welding past 1%. I looked into the .sbc and the critical component for all of the atmospheric thrusters is just "Motor" not "AdvancedMotor" which the thrusters use. Hope to see it fixed but no rush though :D

@BarklayDe_Tolli Strange TritonAurora_alphamask.dds and TritonAurora_cm.dds are included in the mod, it's a know problem that Keen never bothered to fix, but the workaround is to include these images. I'll investigate further when I get the chance, thanks for reporting back to me.

I started a new game with only the BR mod and Triton had black sky, all other planets were fine.

I don't understand what exactly was changed in the SBC files, I changed "/" to "\", but the sky remains black and errors that it can't find the *.dds files remain
PS. I also found out that the sky disappears only on Triton, on the other planets everything is fine.

Due to this mod, the sky becomes completely black. I use many other mods and initially thought there was a conflict somewhere. But through testing, I've found that if I leave only the Better Resources mod, the sky turns black, making neither the sun nor planets visible. No Skybox fixes solve the issue. Has anyone encountered this problem, is there a solution?

@Sniper Everything appears to be fine after the Fieldwork update. I haven't purchased the DLC yet, but the new block should work fine.

@Archishka I can confirm after a bit of searching I've found Uranium and Platinum on asteroids, but they're not found on the moon with Better Resources

@zzzff All resources should spawn on asteroids, unless another mod is effecting this. Only the default SE planets and moons will spawn the additional resources from my mod. I hope this helps?

Now with new update I created a new world from "Real Solar System" and I can't find Wolframite anywhere. I'm on ice-type planet, started to search on asteroids and explored a lot of them, but now luck. Is wolframite could be found only on some type of planets and doesn't spawn on asteroids?

@DirtyPixel When I dropped the Galena I did come across (which was virtually none), when I dropped it in world, it was a round ball not like the other ore what looked like boulders. If Galena is not an option, is there any other ore that you can get Lead and Zinc from?

@DirtyPixel - I got the ICE problem figured out, thanks. But I do have another issue. I am using BR along with BS and the BS Patch. But for some reason, Galena will not go into any of the refiners (Basic, Advanced, Industrial or Oil). Any ideas? I am not using any other resource type mod but BR and BS. I removed all the inventory managers to see if that might be the problem? But still will not work.

@KailIzzraham If you have an inventory manager installed, that could be stealing the ice from the assembler.
