Props on this class, suppression works very well. If the enemy moves the Rocketeer nails the guy, not always the case on some mods, perhaps an ini issue, nevertheless well done, thanks 4 this class. Great job on the re-imagining of the Pharmacist class too.

The issues causing "Unload" and "Suppressing Fire" to not work have been patched, now making the abilities work as intended.

@Tacoaloto "Suppressing Fire" is supposed to grant "Suppression" as an ability. It should be working normally, but I'll make sure to investigate and see if I can discover the issue.

I notice when I try to use the "Suppressing fire" ability, it just shoots and then gives me another action back. Is it because the soldier does not have suppression as an ability?

@FeeL The ASR Patch does not edit "Unload", it fixes the Rocket Launcher abilities, I'll do a quick check to make sure "Unload" is properly set up and release a patch if I figure out the issue.

well i have ASR patch installed but still... "unload" doesnt work for me....just shooting once like normal shot

As of this one, I like it. Starts out not *that* strong but with ranks and some of the stronger rocket types it really becomes unstoppable.

@eddieGT That is a difficult question to answer, as I have plenty of projects I want to work on and things I want to learn. There is a part of me who wants to continue to make a few more classes, but overall, I wouldn't expect to see much more from me class wise. I might make 1 or 2 more classes for Proficiency, but I want to start working on other things for XCOM as I have been working on these classes for almost two years.

There is now a patch that was created in order to fix the compatibility issue with Ability to Slot Reassignment, make sure you have it installed if you are unable to use those abilities.

Wondering if the issue with Ability To Slot Reassignment mod has been fixed yet. This class looks pretty fantastic, either way. Looking forward to trying it out!

oh just tested further its works same with ordinary rifles....and ability "unload" doesnt work too it just shoots once and thats it

hm another thing poped up....if i train rocketeer for spionics and give him psionic reaper gun, then ability suppressing fire gives infinite shots instead of supressing target if u dont kill it....it just gives another shot....

i all those hero clases and they are fine....problems just with commander and roketeer, well looks like roketeer is fine now commander left :) ill try it on next campaing

@FeeL Unlike the Commander Class, I did not know there is an issue with the PCS for the Rocketeer, thanks for bringing this to my knowledge. I'm attempting to figure out what is wrong with the Commander's PCS, and I'll update this one accordingly after I find the issue.

help guys, cant use PSC on this mod same problem with commander mod, option is greyed out and telling that soldier insuficient rank or something like that? anyone had this problem? any solutions?

As said in the mod, this class is unable to use the Gauntlet. This was a carryover perk from Alpha's Rocketeer, and I never actually got to test if it worked properly. If it doesn't I plan on replacing it in a future update.

Heavy Armaments doesn't seem to work, my rocketeer can't equip the gauntlet but is stuck with the rocket launcher.

@silverleaf1 As of the most recent patch, hopefully the Rocketeer will stop shooting those Xeno-Loving VIPs, Open Fire (renamed now to Target Lock) might no longer shoot the VIPs, but I don't even know it will properly work. You'll need to rebuild your soldier since the mod was updated though.

@Knox Quite a few of your classes are mainstays in my campaigns. Thanks for all your hard work in providing them. My favorites are the commander and reaper scout, which packs quite a punch.

@Knox In the interim I just need to remember not to take rocketeers on enemy VIP missions. If you make the change please let me know. I always check posts like the ones here. I noticed that your rocketeer does not require the original which is why chose to report here.

The Open Fire Ability isn't an ability I made, so if possible, I can try to update it in mod to now include ADVENT VIPs. Until then, your Rocketeer will decide whether to kill those Xeno-loving VIPs.

@Knox I am playing with Covert Infiltration where it is necessary for an enemy VIP to survive in order to get the location of an Advent facility. The issue is with the open fire ability. When the enemy VIP moves they are often killed because the rocketeer opens fire. A welcome addition might be to alter the open fire ability so that they do not kill enemy VIPs using this ability.

They are unable to use the gauntlet, as intended since Iridar's rocket launchers allow gauntlet rocket abilities to be used with the his rocket launcher.

The DRLs are not meant to be a replacement to the rocket launcher that the class gets since they are disposable.

It does in fact work with the mod, before the last update it truly depended on it, but I decided to remove the dependency due to the fact that players could get the wrong class when promoting a soldier and so I could remove the GTS perks the class had.

There shouldn't be any class overwrite between abilities, so it will most likely just be normal, but both the classes will show up.

It was a good idea, and all rockets (except the Elerium Nuke) have been allowed in the Pistol Slot. (If you want the Elerium Nuke, you just need to remove a semicolon)

Consider looking at the Reaper Scout, the only class that I've made that actually is designed for recon/flanking. Port wise it is an interesting suggestion, but still the same cookie-cutter response I've said previously, not unless I want to or am interested in it.

I know youre slowing down on these ports, but if you come back to it, maybe you could consider porting the classic Rogue Class mod by isms? I think Proficiency is still lacking a class that focuses on flanking / mobility without melee and also no one with SMG as primary.

I'm currently slowing down on Port projects at the moment due to working on a stupid, yet ambitious project that is going decently well, but let me bring up something about the ports.

I only plan to make ports for classes I want to and for classes that doesn't already fit into a assigned proficiency class already made. If any class fits these two categories, I might decide to port it.

The default loadout for this class needs an update. It uses "RL_CV" for it's secondary weapon but the proper ID for Rocket Launchers 2.0 would be "IRI_RocketLauncher_CV"

I plan to port more classes over to Proficiency Classes once I'm done with a few completely new class projects of my own. MEC Troopers is an interesting suggestion that I'll keep in mind, but it'll depend on what class I decide to do next for ports.

I see you've revived a few older classes with Proficiency growth! It seems that most of us still playing the game have been adopting these classes into our mod lists. Do you at any point plan to do something similar for the MEC Troopers mod?

You have a typo in the new ability value config, the first defense value is 50 instead of 5
