Any chance you can nest your genotypes under one tab?

they are flooding other mods off the edge of the screen lol

It's kind of random, checked per cybernetic added. It's actually part of the base game, even if Sifrah inspired its addition. Basically any non-True Kin (or genotype not flagged as True Kin) who gets cybernetics has a chance of developing the syndrome whenever cybernetics are added.

so i just got cybernetic rejection and i cant find any info on it, i also do NOT have the sifrah mod installed, is there a way to deal with it or just a drawback to being a augmented mutie? also is it caused by having a certain number of cybernetics installed or what?

It wasn't originally an intended feature, but it turns out either by update or by oversight cybernetics and variant body parts don't play nicely. I'm waffling on calling it a bug or a design feature, to be honest.

awesome, i did find a small maybe glitch with the roachkin, they cant install face bionics because they dont have faces, is this intentional?

Extra limbs added via genotype or Chimera extra limb growth use the normal offhand percentages for extra attacks.

So Ambidexterity is an even more worthwhile investment for such characters.

so i had a question about the roaches, they have an additional set of arms but not the multiple arms mutation, how do these factor into having arms for the purpose of multiple attacks? Do they just count as regular arms, biological/mutated arms or what? that being said love the mod and the custom sprites for the roach preset.

Genotype is Qud's name for "playable character species" which can then choose classes/jobs for each specific genotype, such as Warden.

To clarify when you say "genotype," do you mean more mutations, present characters, more mutations for mutants, or something else?

I think the Mechanimist Genotype mod got rid of the status for its geno with C# but I didn't try it yet (still playing random). Not sure if I like not being able to use some cybernetics since it's the feature of your genotype tbh.
If I was actually hacking the nook I'd be fine but as it stands it's not practical… 😢

Both are actually features - Cybernetic Rejection Syndrome was put in the game exactly because of Sifrah, I'm afraid. Also, after thinking it over - not sure how to fix the "cybernetics cannot go into variant body parts" or even if I should.

Seems that with Sifrah I get Cybernetics Rejection Syndrome after a while with Roaches. Not sure if I should report this to you or to Chaos so I did both lol

I gave myself a face by editing the Bodies.xml in the meantime. Could be intentional but I more lean towards a base Qud limitation preventing arthropod anatomies from installing implants, or a bug with all parts that are Face variants.

Playing a roach for the first time: they can't install cybernetics on their antennae? Trying to install a technoscanner or bioscanner won't let me select it

Go ahead and DM me, I can point you in the right direction. I will warn you it helps to have at least a basic understanding of C# and some skill at figuring out other people's code.

That was super crazy cool, finished my first run as a Mantid Hulk (just crossing to Bright*l for now :), I was so OP but it felt so freaking good having so much arms and mixing many utility equips with near permanent stunlock.
I always run Daily or full Random so only Chaos makes me play modded chars but I still managed to get a Waspkin member this time :) Excited to discover their new sting and for what's more to come, congrats on this mod!!

They do in fact have a few custom starting items! So far they are pretty limited - only a couple of weapons - but I'm still learning the best ways to balance things! I'm also in the process of testing/balancing some custom mutations for each genotype! Right now I'm fixing up a poison bite for the spiderkin and working on a "skuttle away to safety" ability for the cockroaches!
