I got it to work. Seems like the mod, 'lord and hero item sets' (not sure exact phrasing) messed with the quest firing. I disabled it and the Valten quest showed up. Awesome mod you made. Thanks.

I can't seem to get the Valten quest to trigger after completing the Ghal Maraz battle with Karl Franz. Valten shows up in the AI skirmish battle and I can use him there, though. Is anyone aware of a mod that might interfere with his quest firing? Thanks.

did you remove the carroburg greatsword unit? reikland has a new elector count unit (shock cav) and cant find the greatswords anywhere. hoping theres another mod messing things up cos damn not having those chad greatswords sucks

It appears that a Lords red skills don't affect the state troops if I'm looking at it correctly. Is this intended, or do I perhaps have a conflict with another mod?

How do i recruit the empire footman?. I have the tier 3 barracks but still only generic units from vanilla. When i hit the upgrade tab on general shows them on top right but says i need to select a unit from my army for recruitment upgrade but all are grey out. First time trying a mod for this game if anyone could help thanks).

Did this mod add switchable ammo for cannon in WHII? If so is it possible to bring it to WHIII, or is there another mod that adds this?
(For playing a faction other than Nuln)
I miss defending chokepoints with a brace of grapeshot cannon and a few brave souls.

I am so glad this Mod is still getting updates, If you had Patreon I would just donate to support your mod because you deserve it, easy 10/10 although my only critique is I am hoping if you add the same system that the Kislevites have as well for putting atamans on each provinces because having Elector Counts is cool but it shouldn't be just the whole Empire but also should affect outside as well and it be cool if each provinces with the assigned Elector would give significant buffs as well! I hope this suggestion would be well and not too complicated because this is something that CA should be reworking for the Empire

For those who play with the Landmarks of Legend mod, the latest update of Sigmar's Heirs will not work correct for you. It seems there is a conflict between the two imperial zoos, each of the mods has its own. Therefore, apparently, there is no dilemma with dragon after the zoo is built. Please note, this is important, you need a zoo to get the dilemma - stables of the 5th rank (u can built it in Altdorf). If you play with submod "no provincial recruitment", you will not be able to built this Zoo...That is not bug of both mods, just conflict...Dear author, please add an update to the description, that player must disable submod "No provincial recruitment" for the dragon.Personally, I played with it for a very long time and did not immediately understand everything, although the error was certainly on the surface...But still, it's not an obvious.

@Xuodad Is it possible to have discussion board with a list of planned changes next update, to do list, and wish list, to keep track and prepare for certain changes. Certain state troops are on people list of dependents. So having a expected list of changes would be helpful. Moreover, it would serve as a nice schedule for people to see what's plan for the next update and address concerns to keep discussion in the comment section to a minimum.

I really, really love your Mod - such great work! Thank you for enhancing the Empire experience so much for us all! I just have one question, since I built the Karaz-a-Karak Ambassy bulding, yet no Lord or Hero appeared on the map or in my recruitment pool. Is there anything I need to do in addition to get him to spawn? Thank you very much in advance!

I'm not aware of any issue with MCT, I'll look into it. There used to be an issue but it was with TKE iirc.
@raw666: I won't change the replacement of the Carroburg GS, other EC will be changed from cav to infantry to have a good mix.

Also saw the comments about MCT and was wondering if this is a common issue? I don't know what events i'm not getting since i'm new here. I used MCT and got the flavour event for Schwarzhelm on turn 2, the correct quest to get Helborg, Zintler was unlocked, all of them got their items correctly. What events are supposed to be gone while using MCT?

@Xuodad, Do you plan to add any units added in the End Times (even if they supossibly do not exist before that time)? For you mention in Discord not finding a replacement for Carroburg Regiments of Renown, hence the addition of a shock Calvary. I am asking for while doing a search, I did find a elite force of Great Swords Reikland used called the Gyrphon Legion (to add confusion with a 3rd army unit with Griffon in the name, making it the wolves of Space Wolves) that were created roughly around the End Times and seem to survive longer then the Carroburg GS due to being a army of several thousand (most died in Aldorf and the last few regiments made a last stand in Averheim). Are they actually a thing, and could they serve as a replacement to the Carroburg instead?

Just reading comments on Mod Configuration Tool comment section and it sounds like MCT causes events in Sigmar's Heirs to fail to appear. The MCT creator said he let Xoudad know about the issue earlier this year. I guess we should try to run this mod without MCT???

@CertifiedMayagendistN°1: Lorewise Carroburg GS has always been RoR and not regiments you can spam around. Other EC are gonne be moved from cav to GS or other infantry.

Hello. I think there is an error in "character_skills_localised_description_hkrul_tochter_special" and "character_skills_localised_description_hkrul_setanta_special". The text is duplicated with "character_skills_localised_description_hkrul_raphael_special"

I think the text error hasn't been fixed yet.

I had a few issues though, for eg helborg and schwartzhelm didnt obtain their weapons when they reached the specified level. I remember it working a few months ago, maybe a compatibility issue with other mods but idk

Xoudad, one question:

Why did you make the Carroburg Greatswords a RoR?

The Elector count state troops already had 3 different cavalry units, two of which were Shock cavalry, and Reiksguard with this mod are also beefy as all fuck.
The Carroburg Greatswords where the cream of the crop in melee frontline, especially against large units, now the remaining melee state troops are just meat shields.

Thanks for the fast update! Not to put more on your plate, but we previously discussed updating the Runefangs, and I'm curious if that's something you're still interested in doing, or if you'd rather wait to see if CA eventually updates them alongside other items?

Unrelated, Your New Empire was an interesting mod that's been dead for quite some time, and while I'm very happy with the state of CA's updates + Sigmar's Heirs, one feature I really enjoyed was YNE's unique Elector Count State Troops mechanic , allowing for more flexibility in giving players access to EC Troops without confederating (and therefore a good reason not to always confederate immediately). I don't know if this is something you'd have interest in, but I'd love to see a similar feature within Heirs.

@uma Thurman please keep me updated because I am trying to figure out the exact same thing. If you could actually join Xoudads discord and help trouble shoot that would be amazing.

I literally just did two back to back tests. One with Sigmars Heirs and assets on, mixus unlocker and MCT on. The turn two event didnt trigger, the wizard event didnt trigger and the lords didnt become recruitable.

Just did a second try with only Sigmars Heirs and assets, and only mixus unlocker on...and the same thing happened nothing worked.
