Update: I tried with Plant and Cook Fixed, Preussirize, i.e what EDSRa combines but with fixed version of plant and cook and no algae mod. That loaded fine. I then spent the past 70 minutes progressively loading in all the other mods and then discovered that the Industrial Overhaul addon "Locked and loaded" (not the weaponcore variant) is the culprit for the crash. It seems to work, though I will have to play it more to actually confirm.

the EDSRa order did not work for me, it seems like it wants to completely hijack the HUD, which means mods using Text HUD (including aerodynamic physics) are not usable. This really sucks because I really love playing with Aerodynamic Physics and Bigger Explosions + Kinetic Devastation + Nuclear Weapons.

Sweet! Good to hear

There is somehow working mod load order:

Ores First! - Industrial Overhaul - PEP CO
Industrial Overhaul - Eat, Drink, Sleep. Repeat! building Compatibility
IO
Eat.Drink.Sleep.Repeat.Advanced!

Yes, i just put EDSRa under IO and this one seems to be working just fine.

Have you tried moving around the load order? Put building compatibility on top.

Compatibility problem with Eat.Drink.Sleep.Repeat.Advanced! (used on scenario Ares at War with Industrial Overhaul)
Eat.Drink.Sleep.Repeat.Advanced! removes some recipes in survival kit from another mods. This compatibility mod does not help.

@PepperJack Thank you, that's wonderful!

Done! Let me know if that fixes your issue
PepperJack  [author] 26 Feb, 2024 @ 4:09am
I will remove the requirement! Just to let people use what they want!

Would it be possible to make a version with Plant and Cook Fixed as the requirement instead of the original plant and cook? This mod force loads the unfixed version because of the steam requirement tag and having both does wonky stuff.
PepperJack  [author] 11 Nov, 2023 @ 6:23pm
Should work but make sure this mod is above the other. Since it's on the required list you might just need to make sure the other mod is also above the required mods list

I've downloaded plant and cook fixed id=2980670374 instead of the normal plant and cook. Will I be able to use your mod with the fixed version or will I have to change to the original version? I'm setting up ares at war scenario with IO using doomgooses modlist and its his modlist I got the fixed version from but guess I could use the normal plant and cook along with yours to make my it IO compatible?

sweet, it looks like you and i had the same idea, i made one about the same time you did.
PepperJack  [author] 29 Jan, 2023 @ 9:23am
If you have the water mod on the list try it without then add it in after you create the world.
maxdean02 29 Jan, 2023 @ 8:13am
Yup, that's what I was looking for, thanks so much! Now I just gotta try to see why my game crashes upon creating a new world...
PepperJack  [author] 29 Jan, 2023 @ 4:06am
This mod only changed the cost of the blocks. The other one adds things to the production block but doesn't change the cost of the blocks. You need both mods for best results. Have mine above in load order. Hope that helps

Hey, @PepperJack, I noticed that there's already a more popular version of an EDSR IO compatibility patch. What's the difference between your version and the other one? Should I only use one at a time or will it cause my game to crash or something?
