No 1.5 update?

Will you update this mod to 1.5 ?

Do you know what I've just discovered? You can use the same patch method to change Fat, Hulk and Thin bodies for Females to the new bodies added via BodyTypeDef. And it seems like it catches the corresponding clothes with name like ShirtBasic_Fat_Female_east. I'm astonished.

Is there any chance you could make the Yttakin cat ears a separate mod? I really like it. I'm going to start a new game with https://steamhost.cn/steamcommunity_com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=3107452463 and having the body types and genes disabled will affect balance. Love the mod otherwise!

Why did you make hulk the most common bodytype for male pawns?

i really like the whole mod apart from the yttakin cat ears it looks weird especially with helmets

Hi, i have few mods with ,modded body types and and some of them result in hulk like bodies with tiny child heads .. (looks as abomination in 1.3 .. there children normaly arent present (hoping for mod to segregate body types and parts.

Would be nice to have an option to disable that. I use this mod to make thin female specific bodies and clothes, and it is strange to get adolescent males with female body ))
And generally options are great to have.

May I ask what mechanism is used to judge the body type, I think there is something in my mod list that interferes with the operation of this mod.

I wish this mod allowed us to set what gene was for what gender in each race we make. I think this is a nice concept mod and I like the idea of it. But personally I would rather find a way to make my races have genetic differences based on gender. Idk if this is possible though. Nice job with this mod.

Well its true people got their preferences which is why we see a lot of modders usually add an option between the new feature and the old for the old folks like me. anyway.

And I looked through HAR assembly, it converts Vanilla Humans into Aliens and adds a backstorydiff to them which also assigns them a bodytype aswell

Originally, females were only normal and thin, with the fat body type unused, but that didn't appear to be a well-received change. So the choice was to assign it to either males or to females, and the male fat prevalence seemed a bit high (~10%). Currently, only females are fat, at vanilla levels (~5%).
People have all kinds of preferences, and mod lists, and it's hard to please everyone, unless you're solving a particular problem. I don't know which mod adds "apparel masking". I haven't tested this mod with Humanoid Alien Races, and so I haven't had the issues you're currently having. HAR is very complex, and if it decides to override the body type in the backstory defs, then I can't do much about that, unfortunately.

First of all, great mod and I love it, was looking for something like this for ages since I use compatible 2 body mod and their Apparel Masking system. It converts all Modded apparel which really works great but the downside is well, Fat and Hulk Bodytypes are usually cursed on Females so this mod was a blessing, sadly tho It seems like the mod does not patch the body types when HAR is active.

I tested it with a modlist of Harmony, Cure/DLCs, HAR and your mod only.
Changing the load order didn't matter aswell

I guess HAR has their own patches? that overwrites yours? Don't know really since I don't have much about coding, best I can do is change your code a bit to make females also patch the Fat bodytype so they don't appear on them aswell. Which like I said works perfectly unless HAR is active on the modlist :(

Is this a knew thing? I don't see HAR marked as incompatible so idk

Is this only for Xenotypes body type genes,and not Rimworld in general?

Oops! Made a compatibility patch for Stoneborn. It won't correct existing pawns, since the patch edits the stoneborn xenotype. But you could fix that with devmode.

Just a heads up. With Det's Xenotypes - Stoneborn https://steamhost.cn/steamcommunity_com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=2888722722 active, this mod adds Furry ears gene to all xenotypes.
Tested with minimal modlist.

I've updated the description to describe the reasons for this mod. I hope the description is more clear now. Also, the fat body type is no longer unused. The rate of the uncommon body types are closer to vanilla levels. (~30%)

I appreciate feedback, especially if you've tried the mod out.

No fat bodies?

I'm a man and if I was a Rimworld pawn I'd have a thin body because my BMI is lower than 20.

Personnally, I would have preferred a mod that just makes the hulk body male exclusive, but I couldn't find a mod that does just that strangely enough.

@For the Jerusalem It also seemingly removes fat body types for both genders, based on what is written.

I'm 99% sure that both male and female body types are already locked, so this mod just makes the hulk body unique to males and thin bodies for females.

Based, but I don't think that I have ever seen a male Pawn with a female Body Type.
