Similar to other commenters, I realized what this patch does today:
It completely replaces the products of those 3 outposts. This simultaneously makes those 3 too high tech and then too low tech once you've advanced.

There are more dynamic patching operations available and I can't recommend this patch to players in its current state.

The mining outpost shows me only the stones and Jade, uranium and components as possible resources. The gems and other stuff is strangely missing for me.

I realize that this mod is kind of in the middle of a rework based on the description.

I was wondering if you could make the patch apply only while on medieval tech level so it would be friendly to tech traversal?

I'm using world tech level mod to control that.

Love the mod, quick question, i can't seem to get rox to be at the ranching outpost? I have over 35 animal skill there, am i missing something? Does it need to be higher?

Disabling the leather production chain in MO's mod settings makes ranches and hunting camps give actual leather again.

I second the issue with MO hides showing up as only worth 1 leather when processed. Would be great if there was a temp fix through RIMMSqol even until it could be worked on!

Thanks for this mod!

I've noticed that, in place of leather, my hunting outpost is sending me hides equal to the leather quantity. Each hide is worth 1 fur/leather. Any chance this could be patched to send either finished leather or a proper number of properly-sized hides?

Nope, Vanilla Outpost expanded has raids disabled so you won't be able to see the layouts ever.
until then its just a small patch to change the ores and gems.

Vanilla outpost framework seems to be having a lot of previous bugs it used to have when it first came out (raids destorying your outpost when you won etc etc)

And it seems they removed part of the code which lets an outpost spawn in with hand selected layouts sooo that part is gone sadly :(

Sadly it doesn't seem so, Vanilla outpost has changed some of its code it seems. No longer I can use <chooseFromlayouts> and apply my custom farm layouts since the whole layout systems seems to be gone.

I fixed the productions bugs for the mining/drilling/production outpost so those should be working but I need to do more tests to figure out if changing the layout is even possible anymore or its gone :(

Hello! this mod is a simple xml patch and should be still working. I'm gonna wait for Sirlala to finish updating his mod (Medieval Overhaul) then I will run a full test to make sure it is actually loading the xml patch correctly. but for now medieval overhaul is not out for 1.5.

(maybe also for once add more outposts so there are more variety.)

This mod only changes the look of the settlements and their outputs, the rest is handled by Vanilla outpost expanded and it seems you problem lays not in this simple patch

Its been a long time since I looked at the patch but from what I recall that might be the cause.
Or it could be that Vanilla Outpost Expanded itself doesn't let you mine plasteel.

Either way its an easy 1 line code to do if you want to change it I recommend having a look :)

Hello, I have a problem, I have created a town near my colony but nothing happens, it says which settlers are going to be recruited but nothing happens after the waiting time.

Hello, I apologize for the message but I wanted to know the best place to report a bug, I don't know if it's a mod incompatibility or what, but I've tried changing the load order of the mod and while it seems that I can get basic components from Production Outposts, it appears that mining Outposts are still only generating Vanilla Resources instead of any of the ores or gems from Medieval Overhaul. I've removed a lot of mods I thought could be causing the issue, but it appears that even still, I don't get the option to have my mining outposts to produce any Ores.

This patch is intended for people who play Medieval Only games, so you probably shouldn't use it if you plan on moving past medieval tech level.

If you research beyond medieval techs will the drilling outpost return to normal or should you just not use this if you intend to move past medieval tech?

It doesn't replace the WorkSites that are generated by Vanilla Game

I didnt use the OG design simply cause the scroll was too big and curved, which made it awkward to place the outpost symbol and for the long title this mod has
