If I understnad, are these units somehow attacked to units existing in the armz separate from the 20 unit cap, or do these just act as smaller versions of the units that take up the max 20 unit per army limit?

The cost can be represented by increasing mainetnance cost by half, sure waagh can also work.

I doubt it would be balanced and that's why I made this variant. other modders made this with deployment spawnings. it wouldn't represent the TT rules better because you also had to pay for detachments and you had a point limit. but that's just my opinion and intention for making this mod (with more mp battles focus than campaign usage).

But I was thinking of something like a Waaagh side army for campaign, where you can recruit detachments manually.

So to get around army unit limit why not turn detachments into unit upgrades instead/as well? That way itll represent tt rule better too.

Ah, even though your user profile is private, I can go via the "Axl's Warhammer 3 mods" panel and there I see Garrison Training and everything seems to be normal.

So strange - it just vanished from my hard drive/WH3MM search results completely.

Are they? I'm sorry then, then this was either an overall brain fart of mine or due to my specific mod setup. I'm pretty sure that I had to hover over the units to safely say which was a detachment and thought I was on to something there. Glad to hear you got it covered. Mea culpa!

This mod makes me so sad that it's not possible in WH3 to edit the save file to enable 40 unit armies.

I do like the mod and what it entails. However, I think that the range that affects detachments needs to be increased. It's a bit of an issue to actually keep the morale of your detachments up.

Oh Its not a big deal, since mods are typically only used In PvE scenario's Its not like It really matters plus others might enjoy the non limit anyway, plus the units do have to be fairly close so Its not really an Issue.

However I thought I might as well Inform you regardless since It didn't seem to be the Intended function of that ability.

@The Reaper of Memes i replicated the issue and i don't understand why this happens. maybe the game can't handle a passive ability on a certain count of units in an area. I keep watching for a solution.
Even though it affects all units in the area, it shouldn't be that impactfull in battles

Great mod, just as a heads up though It seems the "State Troops" ability Is able to affect more then 2 models like It claims. I was able to affect 5 Handguns with a single spearmen as long as they were close enough.
