note, that after that "balance point" going on is so easy, i had to suicide at round 101 and call it a day.

I believe balancing so many scaling features accross such a range of rounds can be tricky

Still had a blast going to round 30 ! :D

I love the fact that at some point (around round 20-30 depending on looting opportunities), the gameplay difficulty totally shifts from hard to easy and you are kinda earning back your grind :D

that's my fav custom zombie map of all time and I guess i know some

feels like the MW3 survival experience mixed with zombie, genius.

The spell casting time I don't feel needs an explanation. After you use, you know it. Some figuring it out is important. That being said, I do think it's poorly executed in this map given there's never a showcase or a weak spell you start with to get you familiar with this idea.

Yes, a menu for all the items you had would've been nice. Without a doubt, but due to time constraints this wasn't a possibility. You're very valid in your critiques however.

Including the percentages would be, but the problem I had was conveying the fact that some items have flat caps, some have diminishing returns and so on. I feel like it'd be hard to explain, especially as the formulas are so different for each of them and wording that was hard for me.

Your critiques are very valid, and thank you for bringing them up! If we do ever make a continuation on this project (which isn't unlikely!), these will 100% be addressed.

I hope despite it's issues you enjoyed the experience.

also, feel free to throw those "git gud" comments at me as they are so so helpful, but when you down it is so devastating. in early rounds it's almost a cause to restart, as killing all the zombies sets you back effectively in a life and an entire round of points. this may contribute to the issue of the map's difficulty being so front-loaded

the instant use thing i would be shocked if no one has mentioned, but if they take a second due to balancing issues, i think it's fair because they are single use. if it's an issue with the coding of it and bugs being caused due to it being instant or near instant use, that's understandable. in the current build, i almost never pick up spells. also, guns feel wayy too common in the rerolls and rewards options. just some of my opinions

suggestions: please make spells instant use or when you pick them up alert the player they have a .5s animation before actually applying. please include a counter or menu to let the player know what items they have and how many. on top of that, including the percentages would be super sick. also not necessary, but visually showing on the counter menu your current multiplier would be awesome. something where you hold tab and it shows it

Melee hit reg is the same as base BO3, just no lunge. Zombies have the exact same range, that wasn't changed either. Sorry to hear you didn't enjoy the map, but the placebo is hitting hard.

Actually really bad map for a few reasons. 1. Meele hit reg is scuffed. 2. not balanced. 3. zombies too much of a range and hit way too fast sometimes.

10/10, would whack zombies with a golden frying pan again. Legit most OP weapon out of all of them. Only complaint I've got is that the difficulty curve seems to be backwards. it starts out very hard and gets easier the further you go. Round 150 and I can just sit at the shop location and play with only my mouse. I'm looking forward to whatever you're cooking up as a sequel.

as an enjoyer of rogue-likes, this is by far one of my most favorite custom zombies map! I will admit though, from my one game I've played, it is extremely hard to find a good area to kill the zombies I've been training without feeling like I'm going to get jumped the second I start shooting them. I was able to find one somewhat decent training area, but even then, I don't feel comfortable at any area of the map, which is both a good thing for immersion, but horrible for gameplay. It reminds me heavily of shangri-la in that sense. Again, since it has a shop/item/spell mechanic, I'm sure my thoughts and opinions will change the more I play, but those are my thoughts for the time being. Good shit, a solid 8/10 :)

Hit round 27 recently and having a ton of fun.

Any update on the sequel? And does anyone know of similar maps to this? I am a huge fan of ameliorama, and I’m hoping there are more maps like these two.

I would love to see how you are struggling as this is the first time I've seen such a massive hit of complaints. Do you have any footage for me to look at?

The map has items to help you out. If you do not use them, yes, you do not have Jugg. There's plenty of items that make you more healthy eventually than Jugg and even have a higher survivability. There's plenty of streams that show this such as Kunjora's and NoahJ's.

Also in response to Darkalp. I specifically gave my reasoning. You do not have to agree. I've also asked regarding the weapons if he utilized shop re-roll enough to which I have no response. How am I supposed to fix these things when I don't have enough information or footage to go off of the mistakes people make and why they gave the review they did?

map is such trash, overpowered zombies, underpowered weapons with no ammo, no jug, and every area of the map has spots you get stuck on. darkalp spot on with everything but considering the devs response it's intended to have bad gameplay

You do not need Mayhem early on to afford anything at all. People often make the mistake of seeing a high rarity weapon and immediately wanting to buy it early on, which is a rookie mistake given how scarce ammo is.
Green rarity shouldn't even be that common in your scenario, as there's a weighting system. Did you utilize the shop re-roll enough?
Claiming Wingman & Legendary Pistol are useless is absolutely a statement of not knowing how to use the weapon. Both are incredibly high headshot multiplier weapons capable of killing until the rounds when Pearlescents start spawning.

Got to round 30 barely, shops keeps giving me green weapons and so I literally cannot kill them, you just have to train and pray. If you are unlucky (like me) literally the most frustrating map ever. I totally would like to have a green pistol that does no damage past round 20. Also, you have to train the zombies a lot in the early rounds for mayhem in order to be able to afford anything literally. The wingman and the legendary pistol and snipers are completely useless. Really like the skybox, the souls music and all but just extremely frustrating to play since you are constantly swarmed from all sides and without a good weapon you have to train and pray you dont get cornered by stray zombies.

Just wow! This should be an official game-mode of official zombies. Truly fantastic, felt like I was playing a well thought out rouge-like within another game. Can't wait to reach round 100. You deserve a pat on the back this is well crafted and is modern day art.

Cool idea but I notice sometimes you get downed when not even close to no health. I was 70% and got swiped once and died. Very odd. Map could be a bit bigger.

Cool concept but its just boring imo. No hate to you. The maps cool but its just not for me. Also im not a huge fan of smaller maps. I think if the map had more to it like the actual location, it would be cool. Also the zombie AI is so dumb in BO3 that i always get blocked by the stupid mfs who like to walk their asses at round 10.

@rayjun Sickkkk! Got to 200 and ended it but could've went forever man really fun map and concept for future maps, can't wait to see what else you come up with! Fun little simple easter eggs, could be cool to do something where it changes environments after so many rounds or I'm sure your mind could come up with something even more creative in the future! Big fan of the cap limit on zombies after a certain round similar to WaW, super unique arcade style gameplay and point system too. Keep it up!
