since my last campaign it managed to load in the characters but since i started another one they somehow dont show up in browser menu and they have greyed out in the world map

Nice mod, played it in my last campaign. New mercs are fun and quite colorfull, laso not overpowered:
Provo - while having free grenades is weaker than Barry and considering how cheap Barry it wont make him OP as long as Barry stays in the game as he is now (tbh current state of Barry kind of warps balance of explosive experts around him overall).

Dustoff - good as a flanker and quite cheap aswell, I would say he competes with Mouse for simillar niche, but do it slightly differently, also he is cheaper and weaker with physical stats.

What those mercs lack though and what would be nice to see one day is addition of conversation interjections like AIM mercs have.

There seems to be some bug with the mod after latest patch.
all mercs go into forced panic as soon as shooting starts

@Vendor_86_HMAO try looking for folder 3011025701. you can also delete the entire steam workshop folder content/1084160 and re-download mods (you can force your entire mod library to re-download by unsubbing and resubbing to any mod)

@Vendr_86_HMAO I’m not sure what I can do about that. The mod ID is 3021163154 if you want to manually delete it from your Steam\Steamapps\workshop\content\1084160 folder, but it should be fine for you to just disable it in the mod manager.

I have not used them that much so far as I have just started a new play-through, but so far they seem to be balanced useful but not game breaking, they potentially make Ernie island easier but you only have 2 bombs at that point so they will only do so much.

great mod, really enjoying using dustoff and provo, now my go to explosives guy rather than bloody Barry Unger :) they are both balanced and unique with some good voice lines, looking forward to using the other two :steamthumbsup:

@husker juan should be permanently set to offline because he’s unfinished. he might even be spawning like that because i haven’t linked his merc unit data to a model yet. how are you seeing him?

@thanks for the catch, it's a version mismatch in the displayed requirements with dependencies and me forgetting to update them in the editor. you need nationalities lib and show nationalities, and 40mm grenade examples (actually, I'm not even 100% sure this is still nseded- migjt just add the code to here later). More IMP Voices hasn't been a requirement for a while. I'll fix.

As for the tab acting wonky, no idea. It's probably due to enabling and removing nods without a restart of the program.

I think its "show nationality" dependency. Never had it. Did you recently add that in? I already had 40mm Gas Grenade Examples.

I'm having some issues here with M.E.R.C.
The tab doesn't show up, running version .416
I then went to NexusMods and notice the dependencies are different
Steam has More IMP Voices
NexusMods doesn't not have More IMP Voices, but has show nationality & 40mm Gas Grenade Examples which steam does not.
I installed the NexusMods versions .403 and its dependencies, I did get it to work. Kind of...
Enabling the mods and then started a new game the tab didn't show. But when I restarted the game the tab now showed. Little weird behavior.
Maybe this only effects me, idk. Just letting ya know.

@NodMoD they take a very long time to be done to the right quality (Dustoff still doesn't have a proper portrait, but is otherwise done!)

Two more mercs will be coming soon: Juan and Brick. Other modders have also said they will be releasing tie in content to this mod such as merc relationships. I will also be asking for permission to patch other mercs into M.E.R.C., and the longterm plan is to create another website like AIM or IMP, though that mat be far off.

The idea of all 130 Mercs which were in JA2.1.13 being in JA3--WITH unique voice lines--is very appealing. But it doesn't sound like this mod does that? Yet?

The flavor description is nice and all, but I honestly think you'd be better off to just describe the mod, what it currently does, what you hope it will do in the future, etc.

@BadAzzYellaBro good to know for testing purposes that the game has problems dynamically updating this part of the UI, but this is definitely outside the scope of what i can control. you should always restart the game after adding or removing mods when running anything involving scripts!

UPDATE; Anytime I add a modded merc, it duplicates the tabs. Restarting the game seems to resolve the issue. Not sure if this is just some quirk of the mod or the game engine UI.

Got it figured out. I had to enable each mod then restart game. After doing that, all 3 enabled and only add 1 tab each.

When this mod is enabled along with JA2 Mercs and AIM: Even More Mercs, it duplicates their tabs and messes up the UI. Not sure why. Any idea?

Question; I see u use all Nationalities lib but not the one that actually shows the nationalities in game? How come?
