so all the weapons show up in red blocks and cant be used with weaponcore ...

i believe wc updated and this mod no longer works with it.

I suppose there was no X-wing with different colours in the original films so I guess it doesn't really matter if I can or can't

They can denote that, sure. And you can recolor those, but not the rest of the block.

Ah, I meant the stripes, I thought the colour denoted what squadron, ala red, blue, etc. but either way thanks for the info

I do not understand the question. They are blocks like any others and can be recolored accordingly. Though the blocks with specific stripes of color on them can only have those color stripes recolored.

Just wanna add a really small nitpick since you replied so fast last time, the first person camera position for the cockpit seems to sit a bit too far back. This isn't exactly an issue since the player model's head tends to get unloaded, however with modded outfits their authors usually forget to do that and parts of the helmet obstruct your vision. Again it's a really small nitpick and don't expect you to do anything about it especially since it's no fault on your mod, but just thought I'd point it out in case you wanted to shift the camera forward somewhat to where it usually sits on other cockpits

There seems be a bug in survival or at least an issue I've somehow caused. When I try to weld any of the landing gear the game crashes when it hits the "functioning" line, the landing gear works fine in creative and I can grind it down then weld it back up no problem but when building from scratch in survival it always crashes.

I've tried unsubing and resubing or testing it in a new world with just this mod and it's requirements installed but always get the same results.

I can get around the issue by using alt-f10 then using creative tools to cheat them in and just weld it back up in survival but I'd rather avoid doing that. I hope you can fix it :)

Those errors don't really make any sense and neither I (nor others) seem to get them so this likely is a mod download corruption issue. I would recommend you unsubscribe from this mod as well as animation engine and weaponcore, wait a bit, then resubscribe. That should make Steam redownload the three of them.

For some reason the weapons and blocks are not working showing their pre lua names with underscores in the name. I attempted to delete the mod delete the game verify game files but for some reason its still not working

Thanks! I do like the U-Wing so I do want to make a kit for it too, but I definitely want to concentrate on some basics first before I move onto it. Fun fact: Years ago, an U-Wing block kit was one of the first mods I started. I'll need to redo all those models no doubt but I may be able to reuse some other work from it.

Oh you're right I completely forgot that those aren't released yet. Basically when making this mod I figured that I may as well make a complete R2 model to reuse later, even tho the x-wing droid bay really only needs half of one.
The full R2 will be part of a separate mod in which I'll stick a bunch of different star wars droids. Not sure yet when it will be released because right now it's just R2 and I want to add a couple more before release.

I really love the animated working droid aspect of this mod, so I was wondering, is it possible to get those standing R2s shown in the pictures? I can't seem to find them in-game.

It'll be at least another couple weeks until the TIE is ready. After that I'll likely be working on some Star Wars turrets and setting up MES encounters for both X-Wings and TIEs.

No, this is specifically the rebellion era x-wing. The T70 looks different enough that it would need its own block set.

Have you considered adding as an option the 'undercarriage' turret seen in the T70 (New Trilogy) version?

As far as balance goes it might break things if it's a full turret but it could be mechanically interesting to, for example, set it up so it has low heat/some other enforced cooldown so you can only run it for, say, 30 seconds in a couple minutes as either emergency point defense or to chase off 'natives' when you're landed.

Also, keep up the good work! It's good to see an up-to-date Star Wars mod available.

Patch 1.1
- Added KX9 Laser Cannon as a standalone block - perfect, among other things, for custom turrets.
- Added MG7 Proton Torpedo Rack - can hold one magazine and is available in both large and small grid.
- Fixed Hyperdrive overloading the default X-Wing blueprint's systems on charge.
- Fixed cockpit LCDs briefly being seethrough when turning the grid on.
- Fixed engine intake LOD issues (decals were clipping in and out at certain distances).
